    Abstract: The present disclosure provides an array measuring method and interpretation device for ultrasonic detection of middle ear effusion, including an ultrasonic probe, an ultrasonic receiver, an analog-to-digital converter, and an analysis unit. The surface of the mastoid is divided into a plurality of measurement areas, and when ultrasonic is used for non-invasive detection of middle ear effusion, linear discriminant analysis is used for pre-training to find the best detection position and weighting parameters thereof to obtain the accurate evaluation value.

    Abstract: A non-invasive ultrasound detection device for detecting liver fibrosis and method thereof is disclosed. The method includes the steps of: creating a discriminant function of several parameters, each with a weight obtained by LDA, based on a database; and determining the degree of liver fibrosis by comparing a reference value and a numerical value calculated from the discriminant function. The parameters represent different probability distribution functions capable of identifying liver fibrosis or fatty liver. In the step of creating a discriminant function, the database provides the processed data based on numerous ultrasound images of patents' livers for LDA. In the step of determining the degree of liver fibrosis, the processed data based on ultrasound images of a person's liver are obtained for further calculation of the numerical value. The processed data includes an average value for each probability distribution function within an area corresponding to a liver.

    Abstract: The present invention provides an acceleration and enhancement methods for ultrasound scatterer structure visualization. The method includes: obtaining an ultrasonic image, calculating all values of the ultrasonic signal points in each mth window centered at a nth signal point to obtain a plurality of original statistical values anxm, obtaining a plurality of mth statistical values by averaging value of original statistical values in the same window, calculating a plurality of mth weighting values based on the statistical values by different weighting formulas, multiplying each weighting value with the original statistical values corresponding to the various size of windows, summing up to obtain an ultrasound structure scatterer value of the nth ultrasonic signal point, and generating an ultrasound scatterer structure image based on a matrix of the ultrasound scatterer values. The present invention further combined interpolation method can reduce the computation time and retain the 80% accuracy.

The method comprises steps of: scanning the external body part corresponding to the liver by a transducer of the ultrasound unit to produce plural ultrasound image data sets; analyzing one ultrasound image data set with the Nakagami distribution to produce a Nakagami parameter by using the. Nakagami parameter generation unit; analyzing plural ultrasound image data sets to produce a hardness value by using the hardness value generation unit; and evaluating the liver fibrosis by comparing the Nakagami parameter and the hardness value with plural reference parameter sets stored in the data base by using the determination unit.

The correcting procedure includes steps of obtaining ultrasonic backscattered signals from a standard phantom, compensating and demodulating the signals into an envelope image, calculating the parameter m and m, selecting a window to calculate parameter mw in each location of the envelope image and mw, if mw? m then increase the size of the window to repeat the steps above, and when mw= m, it is the optimal size of the window.     Abstract: A carotid pulse measurement device provided for measuring carotid pulse of a user's neck includes a band, an artery-pressing air cell, an inflating/deflating device, and a pressure detection unit. The band functions to surround the user's neck. The air cell is arranged in the band and is fluidly connected to the inflating/deflating device for selectively inflating/deflating the air cell. The pressure detection unit detects variation of pressure inside the air cell. To use the measurement device, the band is put around the user's neck with the air cell positioned exactly corresponding to the carotid artery of the neck so that the pressure detection device detects the pressure variation and generates a digital pulse signal, which is employed to calculate arteriosclerosis index of the user for evaluation the degree of arteriosclerosis of the user.
