  • Patent number: 11340691
Abstract: A heat dissipation apparatus with energy-saving effect is coupled to an operation unit, and the heat dissipation apparatus includes a control unit and a drive circuit. The control unit determines whether the operation unit enters an energy-saving mode according to a first signal provided by the operation unit. The control unit shields a plurality of second signals provided to the drive circuit according to the energy-saving mode. The drive circuit does not drive the heat dissipation unit and the heat dissipation unit enters an inertia deceleration.

  • Patent number: 10794388
Abstract: A fan failure backup apparatus includes a first fan module and a second fan module. When a second control unit of the second fan module realizes that the first fan module is failed through a first control unit of the first fan module, and the second control unit realizes that the second fan module is not failed, the second control unit controls the second fan module to additionally enhance a pressure-flow characteristic of a second fan unit of the second fan module.

  • Patent number: 8100674
Abstract: A fan has a fan frame for accommodating a first circuit board and a second circuit board. A fan frame includes a housing, a base, and at least one supporting element. The base is disposed in the housing, and the base includes a bottom portion and a tube portion, which is connected to and extended from the bottom portion. The supporting element is connected between the housing and the base. There is a predetermined distance between the bottom portion of the base and an end of the housing so as to form an accommodating space, the first circuit board is disposed on the base and is located on a first side of the bottom portion facing the tube portion, and the second circuit board is disposed in the accommodating space which is located on a second side of the bottom portion facing away from the tube portion.

  • Patent number: 7425809
Abstract: A heat dissipation device comprises a fan motor, a drive circuit, and a reset current reduction circuit. When the fan motor is locked, an input terminal of the reset current reduction circuit receives an alarm signal, and an output terminal thereof outputs a voltage signal, which is larger than a reference voltage generated as the fan motor is at a low rotation rate, so as to decrease a reset current of the fan motor.
