    Abstract: A rotor assembly includes a rotor body having two rotor ends, a rotating shaft penetrating the two rotor ends, and two rotor end plates. The two rotor end plates are pressed to fit correspondingly the two rotor ends, and each rotor end plate includes an inner ring structure and an outer ring structure. The inner ring structure, made of an iron-based material and used to sleeve the rotating shaft, has a first outer-ring peripheral surface and a first thickness. The outer ring structure, made of an aluminum-based material, includes a first radial segment and a second radial segment. The first radial segment, wrapping the first outer-ring peripheral surface, has a second outer-ring peripheral surface and a second thickness larger than the first thickness. The second radial segment, wrapping integrally the second outer-ring peripheral surface as a unique piece, has a third thickness larger than the second thickness.

    Abstract: A method applied for removing a material of a rotor assembly to reach a dynamic balance situation includes the steps of: (1) applying a dynamic-balance investigating means to calculate a mass removal angle and a removal mass corresponding to the mass removal angle for a mass-removing process that is performed at one of two rotor constraint plates in order to have the rotor assembly to reach the dynamic balance situation; (b) determining a mass removal position on the peripheral surface according to the mass removal angle, and calculating a corresponding drilling depth at the mass removal position according to the removal mass; and (c) applying a mass-removing tool to make a mass removal hole having the drilling depth at the mass removal position.

    Abstract: A method for managing multimedia files adapted for a multimedia system architecture including a digital media controller, a digital media server and digital media renderers. The digital media server stores a plurality of multimedia files. The method including: displaying a server list on a touchscreen of the digital media controller to list the digital media servers in the multimedia system architecture, and to list the multimedia files stored in at least one of the digital media servers. A first input action is sensed via the touchscreen to select one of the multimedia files in the server list. The first input action is analyzed to play the selected multimedia file directly by the digital media renderer that is already connected with the digital media server storing the selected multimedia file, or by another digital media renderer, according to different first input actions.
