  • Patent number: 8462840
Abstract: A digital-to-time converter for generating a first and a second output signal separated by a predetermined delay includes first and second periodic signal generators, respectively, generating a first and a second periodic signal, a periodic signal synchronizer detecting a phase difference between the first and the second periodic signals, and first and second output pulse generators, respectively, starting a count of the first and the second periodic signals when a phase of the first periodic signal coincides with a phase of the second periodic signal. When a first value is counted, the first output pulse generator outputs a pulse as the first output signal, and when a second value is counted, the second output pulse generator outputs a pulse as the second output signal.

  • Patent number: 8317393
Abstract: A digital temperature sensing system and method for converting a test temperature into a digital output signal are disclosed. The system comprises a temperature-to-time circuit for generating a thermally sensitive time signal of which a width varies with the test temperature; an adjustable time reference circuit for generating a time reference signal of which a width changes with the digital set value; a time comparator for generating a time comparison signal according to a width difference between the thermally sensitive time signal and the time reference signal; a logic control circuit for adjusting the digital set value of the adjustable time reference circuit according to the time comparison signal so that the width of the thermally sensitive time signal and the width of time reference signal are close enough or substantially equal.

  • Patent number: 6118390
Abstract: An apparatus is provided for processing a pulse signal. The apparatus includes (1) a pulse-shrinking circuit for shrinking a specific quantity of a pulse width of the pulse signal; and (2) a feedback circuit electrically connected to the pulse-shrinking circuit for repetitively feeding the output pulse signal back to the input end of the pulse-shrinking circuit, the shrunk output pulse signal being further shrunk by the pulse-shrinking circuit in order to obtain a feedback number of the pulse signal before the pulse signal is vanished.
