  • Publication number: 20230010001
Abstract: The present invention discloses a partially crosslinked hydrogels blended composition with enhanced viscosity and yield stress, which is formed by the polymerization of one or more colloid monomers through crosslinking. The polymerization is initiated by a photoinitiator under irradiation of the light of a specific wavelength, which promotes crosslinking of the one or more colloid monomers. The hydrogels blended composition can be further crosslinked with one or more other colloid monomers through repeated excitation of the photoinitiator. The hydrogels blended composition can be polymerized into a gel upon re-irradiation, and can also be used as a biomaterial for wound repair, three-dimensional cell culture, personal nursing care, health care, medical and pharmaceutical applications.

  • Patent number: 9068168
Abstract: The present invention relates to the arrangement of one or more cells in a medium or on a substrate through the use of boundary conditions, which are changes in local environment compared to the medium or substrate alone or cause an alteration of cell response upon interaction of a cell with the boundary condition.

  • Publication number: 20150140659
Abstract: A three-dimensional cell culture system for an imaging system to observe a cell image includes at least two cell culture layers formed by a solution having a photo-polymerizable monomer, a bio-molecule, an acoustic scattering medium solution and a cell culture medium. After placing a cell into the two cell culture layers, the two cell culture layers are laminated to form a three-dimensional culture laminating layer for culturing the cell. After forming the three-dimensional culture laminating layer, at least one cell-locating layer having a polyethylene glycol diacrylate (PEGDA) solution, the acoustic scattering medium solution, a plurality of photoacoustic markers and the cell culture medium is positioned into the three-dimensional culture laminating layer so as to form the three-dimensional cell culture system. The imaging system is constructed according to a theory selected from one of optics, acoustics, optoacoutics and acousto-optics.

  • Publication number: 20110208071
Abstract: A non-invasive array-based hemodynamic monitoring system on chip is disclosed. The non-invasive array-based hemodynamic monitoring system on chip comprises a CMOS MEMS pressure sensor array, a readout circuit, and a signal control system. The CMOS MEMS pressure sensor array is configured to sense a pulse wave of a blood vessel. The readout circuit is coupled with each of the CMOS compatible MEMS pressure sensors and is configured to read the pulse wave and transformed the pulse wave into a voltage signal. The signal control system is coupled with each of the readout circuit, and is configured to estimate a wave velocity according to the voltage signal.
