Abstract: An intervertebral disc according to this invention comprises an upper lid, a lower lid, and a joint piece, and the upper lid is formed with a first sphere and a first shaft and the lower lid is formed with a first camber and a second shaft, in which the top of joint piece is formed with a second sphere and a first guidance groove and the bottom of joint piece is formed with a second camber and a second guidance groove; the joint piece is provided between the upper lid and the lower lid, makes the second sphere and the second camber glide and roll respectively on the first sphere and the first camber to contact with each other, and makes the first shaft and the second shaft respectively fit to the first guidance groove and the second guidance groove, thereby the intervertebral disc adjustable being formed.

Abstract: A multi-axis spinal fixation device includes a supporting pole having a threaded shaft at one end and a connecting seat at the other, wherein the connecting seat comprises a U-shaped recess; a brace rod installed across the U-shaped recess; a fastener fastening the brace rod in the recess; and a stabilizing piece disposed between the supporting pole and the fastener, the stabilizing piece having a curved surface at its one end facing the brace rod such that the stabilizing piece is in surface contact with the brace rod.

Abstract: A spinal plate element adjusting device having a threaded engagement is provided that includes a cylindrical hollow body and a pushing member having the shape of a frustum of a cone. The outer wall of the body is formed with a threaded portion of predetermined length. The threaded portion is divided into several portions by slits. An outer wall of the pushing member is formed with an external thread for threaded engagement with the internal thread of the body. When the spinal plate element adjusting device is to be implanted between two of the patient's vertebrae, the body is screwed into the area between two vertebrae by the externally threaded portion. By virtue of the taper of the pushing member, the threaded portion of the body is expanded to have a predetermined slope for supporting and buffering the vertebrae of the patient.

Abstract: A vertebral fixing device for a patient having a diseased vertebral column segment for fastening a first vertebral column segment and a second vertebral column segment at both ends of the diseased vertebral column segment includes a first fixing piece having a first fixing medium integrally formed thereto and secured to the first vertebral column segment, and a second fixing piece having a second fixing medium integrally formed thereto and secured to the second vertebral column segment. The vertebral fixing device further includes a fixing unit having a first and a second hole respectively penetrating therethrough the two fixing mediums for fixing together the two fixing mediums.

Abstract: A coupling plate assembly for spinal correction includes a central rod, a clamping tube having a truncated conical head sized to receive the central rod, an integrally formed step, and a threaded inner periphery defining a hole on the step for a screw to extend therethrough and clamp the central rod, and a plate having two slots each extending from a distal end toward a center portion of the plate and a channel perpendicular to an interconnection axis of the slots with a groove for receiving the clamping tube.
