    Abstract: A communication terminal, a home network system and a control method therefor are provided. In the control method of a communication terminal, if a call request is received from another communication terminal, a sound level of audio outputted by an external electronic device is detected. If the sound level of audio outputted by the electronic device is greater than or equal to a predetermined threshold value, a control command to reduce the sound level of audio outputted by the electronic device to the predetermined threshold value is transmitted to the electronic device. As a result, a user can make a call in a quieter environment without a separate operation.
