    Abstract: A technique for extracting a control channel from a received signal includes storing interleaved control channel elements of the received signal in a control channel region of a memory. First addresses for first elements that are included in a first control channel are then generated using a first circuit. Finally, the respective first elements are read, using a second circuit, from the control channel region of the memory according to the generated first addresses to provide the first control channel in a deinterleaved form.
