Abstract: Systems and methods of pooling and consolidating pools of lottery tickets. A method of pooling includes receiving information identifying one or more lottery tickets, receiving a request to pool the one or more lottery tickets, associating the one or more lottery tickets with one or more pools based on the request and predefined pooling rules and parameters for each of the one or more pools, and transmitting an indication of the one or more pools with which the one or more lottery tickets are associated. A method for consolidating a plurality of pools of lottery tickets includes steps of moving one or more tickets associated with an unfilled pool to a consolidation pool, using limited swapping first and unlimited swapping later, as needed, and moving one or more tickets from a next oldest unfilled pool to an oldest unfilled pool, using limited swapping first and unlimited swapping later, as needed.
