Abstract: Side-flexing conveyor belt built up of a number of chain links which are joined together in a hinge-like manner by means of transverse rods (5, 6) through openings in the individual chain links. Use is made of chain links of at least two types, i.e. edge chain links (1, 2) with one-sided reinforcement (18), and module chain links (3, 4) between the edge chain links. The chain links of both types can be configured in various module breadths, and the individual links are staggered in relation to one another. Each link has a first row of eye parts (12) with mutual intervals between them in the transverse direction, and with elongated holes in line with one another for the engagement of a transverse rod, and a second row of eye parts (11) disposed midway between the first-mentioned eye parts and with holes in line with one another for the engagement of a second transverse rod, and the two sets of eye parts are held together by a transversely-extending bridge part.

Abstract: A set of modular elements for the construction of a driving pulley (1) for belt conveyors or the like comprises a steel shaft (3), at least one disk element (2) of synthetic material and at least two end pieces (8), similarly of synthetic material, plus a number of bolts (11) with nuts (12) arranged for the tightening together of the end pieces around the disk element(s) in such a manner that the shaft is secured in the pulley.In the area for the disk elements (2), the shaft (3) is hexagonal in shape (5) and each disk element has a corresponding axial opening, and the shaft comprises an axial bearing journal (6) at each end and a trunnion (7) for at least one drive wheel (16).The driving pulley is preferably coated with a rubber or rubber-like lagging (4).

Abstract: Conveyor chain comprising a plurality of identical chain links (1) which are interconnected by means of transversely extending hinge pins through eye parts in the front edge and the rear edge of each chain link, and each chain link is designed with a top plate (2) arranged to support the items to be transported, said top plate being provided with fingers (5) and intermediate recesses (6) for engagement with the fingers and recesses of adjacent chain links. Each chain link comprises at least one cover face (12) at one of the edges (4) of the chain link, said face being situated at a level below the top plate (2) and such that the face may slide under the fingers of an adjacent chain link when the conveyor chain turns. The result is an introduction of "bottoms" in the openings occurring by running in curves with chain links with fingers.
