  • Publication number: 20180330315
Abstract: A network connection is established with a server. A broadcasted advertising packet of a wireless communication protocol is received from a remote device. The remote device repeatedly broadcasts content of the advertising packet based at least in part a total number of remote devices specified to broadcast to the system. Payload content from the advertising packet is extracted. At least a portion of the extracted payload content is sent via the network connection to the server.

  • Publication number: 20180328777
Abstract: A content fill level is measured. An interrogation signal is transmitted. A reflected signal having a plurality of peaks is received. One of the peaks corresponds to a signal reflection of the interrogation signal indicative of the content fill level. The plurality of peaks is digitally analyzed to distinguish which peak is indicative of the content fill level.

  • Publication number: 20180164143
Abstract: A measurement device includes a sensor configured to detect triggering of the device. The measurement device further includes a transmitter configured to transmit an interrogation signal in response to the triggering of the device, and a receiver configured to detect a received signal that captures one or more reflections of the interrogation signal. A processor of the measurement device is configured to select a selected reflection among a plurality of identified potential reflections captured in the received signal, and provide an identifier corresponding to the selected reflection that is associated with an amount of content included in a container engaged by the content measurement device.

  • Publication number: 20180164142
Abstract: A measurement device includes a transmitter configured to transmit an interrogation signal. The measurement device also includes a receiver configured to receive the interrogation signal that has been reflected within a container. The received reflected interrogation signal corresponds to a fill level of the container. A protective barrier covers at least the transmitter or the receiver. If the protective barrier covers the transmitter, the transmitter transmits the interrogation signal through the protective barrier and the transmitter and the protective barrier are separated by a gap.

  • Publication number: 20120036494
Abstract: The smart phone and tablet applications are akin to news and media websites available on the Internet in that the applications provide the latest content, richest media experience and an evolving community around the brand. The disclosure provides an efficient and inexpensive process and system for creating and managing of software applications for multiple smart phone and tablet platforms via an online platform. The systems and processes facilitate creation of applications, which communicate with a workflow implemented and powered by an online server. The systems also provides a feed server system that continuously fetches content from various feed sources, aggregates content, and maps into a local data model that can be defined dynamically. The applications are containers that request content from the served based on a token that is preinstalled into the application. The containers are built with the mechanism to bind data to layouts dynamically using the scripting code downloaded from an online server.
