  • Publication number: 20220391880
Abstract: The present invention relates to a system and a method for performing a closed-loop secured transactions using NFC. The method comprises of receiving a payment selection comprising of instrument selection at a secure element of a first user device. The instrument selection is used to automatically select the closed-loop kernel. The invention further encompasses using symmetric key encryption for the payment selection data which can only be decrypted inside the HSM for quick and hassle-free peer to peer (P2P) or peer to merchant (P2M) closed-loop transactions.

  • Publication number: 20220318797
Abstract: The present invention relates to a system for transfer of fund from a user to an entity. The user may be associated with a user computing device and the entity may be associated with an entity device. The entity device may include a secure element embedded within the entity device such that the secure element may enable short range communication with the user computing device or physical card for a secure and contactless fund transfer. The system may include a simple and convenient mode of the contactless fund transfer such as, for example, a tap-to-x transaction model, tap-to-pay for fund transfer, and tap-to-go for transit/access. Each operation pertaining to the fund transfer may be processed through the entity device that ultimately connects to a service provider. The secure element enables the fund transfer to be secure, authentic and confidential.

  • Patent number: 7626972
Abstract: The method of enhancing sessions or applications protocols which use successive transmission control protocol connections within a session on time division multiple access wireless packet data systems or wireline modem access protocols, wherein temporary block flows are chained. The present invention provides for a method and system for utilising sessions or applications protocols which use successive transmission control protocol connections within a session on time division multiple access wireless packet data systems or wireline modem access protocols. The method and system have the advantages of reducing the download time for web pages and reducing the number of random access contentions experienced.

  • Patent number: 7281066
Abstract: A direct memory access system consists of a direct memory access controller establishing a direct memory access data channel and including a first interface for coupling to a memory. A second interface is for coupling to a plurality of nodes. And a processor is coupled to the direct memory access controller and coupled to the second interface, wherein the processor configures the direct memory access data channel to transfer data between a programmably selectable respective one or more of the plurality of nodes and the memory. In some embodiments, the plurality of nodes are a digital signal processor memory and a host processor memory of a multi-media processor platform to be implemented in a wireless multi-media handheld telephone.

  • Publication number: 20040039979
Abstract: An automatic retransmit request (ARQ) telecommunications system reconstructs a first data block from one or more encoded first blocks received and stored by the system. Each encoded first block being encoded from the first data block using a forward error correction (FEC) scheme prior to reception by the system. The system includes a channel decoder configured to attempt to reconstruct the first data block from one or more of the received encoded first block and a packet controller, configured to request retransmission of the first data block as one or more subsequent encoded first blocks, when said one or more received encoded first blocks are determined to be corrupted such that the first data block cannot be reconstructed therefrom.
