  • Patent number: 12090651
Abstract: A system including an autonomous ground vehicle (“AGV”) designed as a common platform to which is affixed one or more articulated arms, which, when combined with attached implements and software for performing movement of the AGV and the arm(s), carries out tasks common to small farms and maintaining small parcels of land. The software enables a farm operator to set up, control, and monitor operations of the robotic system.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: December 7, 2021
Date of Patent: September 17, 2024
    Assignee: Easton Robotics, LLC
Inventors: Jeff Chandler, Govind Ajith Kumar, Pradeep Gopal
  • Patent number: 11657188
Abstract: An information handling system includes a policy store, wherein one of the policies is associated with a feature of a device of the information handling system. If a first assertion for the information handling system to enter a non-interactive mode is detected, then a configuration setting associated with the feature of the device is modified. Modifying the configuration setting associated with the feature of the device includes restricting power transition states of the device.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: March 31, 2020
Date of Patent: May 23, 2023
    Assignee: Dell Products L.P.
    Inventors: Pradeep Gopal, Daniel Hamlin
  • Patent number: 11422602
Abstract: A computing device remote control system includes a remote-control device, a remote-control adapter that is communicatively coupled to the remote-control device, and a computing device including a computing device Universal Serial Bus (USB) connector that is connected to the remote-control adapter. A function controller in the computing device is coupled to the computing device USB connector and operates to receive a remote-control message from the remote-control device via the computing device USB connector and the remote-control adapter and, in response, change a control function state stored in the function controller, and generate and transmit an alert. A system controller in the computing device is coupled to the function controller and operates to receive the alert from the function controller and, in response, access the function controller to identify the control function state stored in the function controller, and perform at least one control operation based on the control function state.

  • Patent number: 9891996
Abstract: A method recovers an information handling system (IHS) from a non-operational state. The method includes determining if the non-operational state of the IHS has occurred. In response to determining that the non-operational state of the IHS has occurred, a basic input-output (BIOS) recovery device is identified as being coupled to an embedded controller. In response to identifying that the BIOS recovery device is coupled to the embedded controller, an IHS type is transmitted to the BIOS recovery device. The BIOS recovery device is signaled to determine if the BIOS recovery device contains a BIOS payload corresponding to the IHS type. In response to determining that the BIOS recovery device contains the BIOS payload corresponding to the IHS type, the BIOS recovery device is triggered to transmit the BIOS payload to the embedded controller. The IHS is triggered to restart using the new BIOS payload.
