  • Patent number: 12273746
Abstract: This disclosure relates to methods and devices for mitigating overheating in a user equipment device (UE). The UE is configured to communicate over each of LTE and 5G NR and may be configured to communicate through 5G NR over each of a Sub-6 GHz and a millimeter Wave (mmW) frequency band. The UE is configured to establish an ENDC connection with an enB and one or more gNBs. The UE implements intelligent transmission modification and cell measurement adjustments to mitigate overheating and reduce battery drain.

  • Patent number: 10651596
Abstract: An electrical connector for testing an electronic package, includes an insulative housing, an insulative sliding plate mounted upon the housing and moveable horizontally along a transverse direction, and a cover up-and-down movable relative to the housing in a vertical direction. The cover forms the actuating parts to contact the rollers of the sliding plate when the cover is downwardly pressed so as to not only urge the sliding plate to move horizontally in the transverse direction but also smoothly move downwardly to a lower position where the electronic package may be loaded upon the sliding plate in a zero insertion force condition with regard to the contacts.

  • Patent number: 8565221
Abstract: A mobile communication device includes a domain selection feature that allows a user to select a domain preference such as a circuit switched (CS) voice domain preference, a packet switched (PS) data domain preference, or a (CS+PS) domain preference. The mobile device receives Public Land Mobile Network (PLMN) ID and domain availability information from one or more PLMNs. A PLMN priority list is generated on the basis of the received PLMN information and the user domain preference selection. PLMNs having the user selected service available are assigned a higher priority than those that don't currently have the service, whereby an original PLMN list may be updated. Thereby, the mobile device is more likely to obtain the desired service without resorting to a time consuming manual selection process.
