  • Patent number: 11973657
Abstract: A system may receive enterprise information associated with a client enterprise. The system may select, using an industry analysis model, a set of queries associated with obtaining status information that is associated with a technology profile of the client enterprise. The system may generate client data that is associated with the enterprise information and the status information. The system may convert, using a matrix factorization technique, the client data associated with the client enterprise to a client matrix. The system may convert, using the matrix factorization technique, reference data associated with reference enterprises to a reference matrix. The system may determine, based on a comparison of the client matrix and the reference matrix, a set of scores associated with technology metrics of the technology profile. The system may perform an action associated with the client enterprise based on the set of scores.

  • Patent number: 11044314
Abstract: A database proxy includes a request processor, a cache, a database plugin, and interfaces for coupling the database proxy client devices, other database proxies, and database servers. The request processor is configured to receive a read request from a client, determine whether the read request is assigned to the database proxy, and return results of the read request to the client. When the read request is not assigned to the database proxy, the read request is forwarded to another database proxy. When the read request is assigned to the database proxy, the read request is processed using data stored in the cache when the results are stored in the cache or forwarded to the database plugin, which forwards the read request to a database server, receives the results from the database server, and returns the results to the request processor for storage in the cache.

  • Patent number: 8920616
Abstract: An electroplating method is disclosed that selectively deposits a greater thickness of a metal or alloy layer on a region of wafer that has a higher thickness loss during a subsequent chemical mechanical polish process. A paddle assembly has three rectangular sides joined at their edges to form a triangle shape from an end view, and a notch in a bottom side that faces a wafer during the plating process. The notch extends along second and third paddle sides to a height up to about 50% of the paddle thickness. The thickness in a K-block region that has two sides formed parallel to the wafer flat is selectively increased by aligning a first side of the paddle notch side directly over one K-block side and aligning a second notch side directly over a second K-block side during a paddle movement cycle. The notch may be rectangular shaped or tapered.

  • Publication number: 20140367258
Abstract: An electrowetting system and method for the movement of a droplet across the surface of a substrate, utilizing an applied voltage. The actuation of the droplet is achieved by introducing a diode into the idealized electrical circuit of the electrowetting system. The diode is in parallel with a capacitor (dielectric) and effectively shorts the droplet on the side of a lower potential electrode so that the entire voltage drop is across the dielectric over the higher potential electrode. This difference in potential creates an energy imbalance that is effective in moving the droplet towards the higher potential electrode. If the voltage polarity is reversed, the direction of actuation will also be reversed.

  • Patent number: 8858772
Abstract: A novel electrowetting system for the smooth continuous movement of a droplet across a single circuit using a continuous applied voltage regardless of polarity. The actuation of the droplet is achieved by introducing a diode into the idealized electrical circuit of the electrowetting system. The diode is in parallel with a capacitor (dielectric) and effectively shorts the droplet on the side of a lower potential electrode so that the entire voltage drop is across the dielectric over the opposite electrode. This creates an energy imbalance that moves the droplet towards the higher potential. If the voltage polarity is reversed, the direction of actuation will reverse as well.
