Abstract: In an embodiment, an aviation system on an air vehicle includes an avionics platform having a control module. The system also includes a control unit having a transceiver, an input device, a processing unit, and a communication device. The system further includes a communication subsystem that couples the control unit and the avionics platform. The communication device enables communication between the processing unit and a plurality of sensors and actuators of the air vehicle to facilitate simulation of a flight test of the air vehicle. The simulation is performed as a function of relative displacements of at least one servo actuated by the actuators in response to an input signal from at least one of the control unit and the control module.
