  • Publication number: 20190154420
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a bi-directional wing unfolding mechanism for unfolding and locking wings of air vehicle during deployment. The mechanism comprises one or more flexible member to enable lift and rotational movements of the wings of air vehicle about one or more axis. The mechanism also comprises one or more pairs of lock pins to lock undesired lift and rotational movement of the wings after the desired movements, thereby enabling minimum roll disturbance and near synchronous locking of all wings. Further, the mechanism also enables folding and unfolding of the wings having higher aspect ratio by folding and unfolding at mutually perpendicular axes. The mechanism also enables lower drag and results in high aerodynamic performance, low roll rate and better flight trajectory.

  • Publication number: 20180367627
Abstract: The embodiments herein push notifications to network devices used by a shared service to which a roaming host in a network fabric is subscribed. For example, a network fabric controller can access a VN policy table which stores the relationships between the virtual networks in the network fabric. Using this table, the controller can identify what shared service VNs (i.e., extranets) can communicate with the host's VN. The controller can push out notifications to the network devices used by the shared service VNs to store the new location of the host. That is, the network devices that locally store a location of the host can update their routing caches to point to the new location of the host. In this manner, the network fabric can reduce the time needed to reconverge on the new location of the host by updating the network devices used by the shared service VNs.

  • Patent number: 7610480
Abstract: A system and method for controlling an Ethernet node's boot-up process. Upon detecting a system reset condition with respect to the Ethernet node, a link down condition is effectuated on at least a portion of the link ports of the Ethernet node. Initialization and configuration of system switch software continues to take place in response to the system reset condition. Responsive to the link down condition, network traffic on the link ports is discontinued. Upon completion of the system software configuration, a link up condition is effectuated on the link ports, whereupon network traffic on the link ports may recommence.

  • Publication number: 20060224754
Abstract: A system and method for controlling an Ethernet node's boot-up process. Port hardware associated with the Ethernet node may be configured to include a TX DISABLED state as a default condition during power up. Upon detecting a system reset condition with respect to the Ethernet node, the TX DISABLED state is triggered at the port hardware. Initialization and configuration of system switch software continues to take place in response to the system reset condition. Responsive to the TX DISABLED state, network traffic on the link ports is curtailed. Upon completion of the system software configuration, a TX ENABLED state is effectuated with respect to the link ports, whereupon network traffic on the link ports may commence.
