  • Publication number: 20240346197
Abstract: A method and system of generating functional chains of test devices of vehicles in simulation environments, is disclosed. A processor receives a natural language input and a set of functional executable elements of a set of test devices corresponding to a functionality of a vehicle from a user device. One or more input ports, one or more output ports, and a set of dependencies are determined for each of the set of functional executable elements from a plurality of dependencies stored in a database based on the natural language input, using a Large Language Model (LLM). A functional chain is generated of the set of functional executable elements based on the one or more input ports, the one or more output ports, and the set of dependencies.

  • Publication number: 20240028375
Abstract: Disclosed are various examples of control plane lifecycle management using data processing unit (DPU) devices. In some examples, a passthrough between a control plane virtual machine and a data processing unit (DPU) is enabled using a DPU management hypervisor executed by a DPU device. The DPU device is installed to the host device. The DPU device receives a control plane update command with instructions to update a control plane that includes the control plane virtual machine. The control plane update command is performed. Control plane data for the update is transmitted through the passthrough.

  • Publication number: 20240012693
Abstract: Techniques for migrating a workload between two container clusters (i.e., source and destination container clusters) that use different processor architectures are provided. In one set of embodiments, these techniques involve implementing a migration container cluster that (1) creates a backup of the workload from the source container cluster, where the backup includes metadata regarding one or more objects or resources of the workload, and (2) restores the backup on the destination container cluster, where the restoring causes a worker node of the destination container cluster to automatically retrieve, from an image repository, a container image for the workload that is specific to the second processor architecture and deploy the container image as a running container on the worker node.

  • Publication number: 20230216453
Abstract: The speaker coil in a dynamic speaker in a mobile computing device can be used to generate radio frequency (RF) signals having a frequency of about 100 kHz or greater. A speaker amplifier drives the dynamic speaker to produce sound and RF circuitry drives the speaker amplifier to generate the RF signals having a frequency of about 100 kHz or greater. The speaker coil can comprise a tap at an appropriate point between the ends of the coil to cause the coil to operate at resonance over a desired RF frequency band. A low-pass filter can be positioned at the speaker amplifier output to protect the speaker amplifier from RF energy generated by the RF circuitry and a high-pass filter can be positioned at the output of the RF circuitry to protect the RF circuitry from audio energy generated by the speaker amplifier.

  • Publication number: 20220253801
Abstract: Examples provide a system and method for optimizing single piece versus multi-piece shipment for source-carrier combinations. A manager component calculates an estimated shipping cost for all possible combinations of source-carrier associated with delivery of items from the source to a destination. The system iteratively calculates a cost for shipping the item with every combination of carriers and sources as a single piece only packaging, as well as a multi-piece packaging where applicable based on rate cards for the carriers. The combination of source-carrier and boxing method providing the lowest estimated shipping cost in a plurality of calculated shipping costs is selected for order fulfillment. The selected carrier is assigned to deliver the ordered items from the source location to the destination location. A notification can be sent to the user identifying the selected carrier and estimated date of delivery of the items.

  • Patent number: 10803436
Abstract: Sensors provide sensor data continuously from a device. The sensor data is continuously processed as factors to generate a confidence value for authentication. The confidence value is compared to a predetermined threshold value or predetermined range of values to determine whether a user is to be authenticated for access to one or more of: a device, a resource, and a transaction operation for a transaction.

  • Patent number: 10353689
Abstract: A mobile device, such as a cellular phone, can transfer an encrypted file from a server to a terminal, such as an automated teller machine. The server can specify delivery to a specific terminal. The mobile device can download an encrypted file and identity metadata from at least one server. The mobile device can connect to a terminal, such as wirelessly or via a wired connection such as a universal serial bus (USB). The mobile device can match an identity of the terminal to an identity associated with the identity metadata. For a USB connection, the identity metadata can include a vendor identifier (VID), a product identifier (PID), and a unique terminal identifier. If the identities match, then the mobile device can upload the encrypted file to the terminal. If the identities do not match, then the mobile device can prevent the encrypted file from uploading to the terminal.

  • Patent number: 9909994
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method and an arrangement for measuring the smoothness of grains. In one embodiment, the arrangement includes a channel for supplying grains, especially rice grains, an obstacle arranged at the channel to slow down grains falling on the obstacle, so that the flow of grains forms a heap on the obstacle and an image capturing device placed facing the obstacle. The image capturing device is arranged to capture an image of the heap, where the area under the curve of the captured heap image indicates the degree of smoothness of the grains or the course of the curve of the captured heap image indicates the degree of smoothness of the grains.
