Abstract: An illustrative virtual meeting management system associates a user device of a participant of a virtual meeting with a physical location from which the participant and one or more additional participants participate in the virtual meeting. The virtual meeting management system determines that the participant provides a user input via the user device during the virtual meeting. The user input indicates that the participant will speak. Based on the user input and the associating, the virtual meeting management system provides an active speaker indicator for presentation in a virtual meeting interface provided to one or more participants of the virtual meeting. The active speaker indicator specifies a participant identifier representative of the participant. Corresponding methods and systems are also disclosed.

Abstract: Embodiments may involve periodically scanning, by a room system, a locale of the room system. The room system may be rendering media associated with a meeting of persons at the locale of the room system. Based on the scanning, it may be determined that a person at the locale is not authorized with respect to the meeting. Based on the determining, the room system may be instructed to stop rendering the media and user devices of the respective persons may be instructed to begin rendering the media.

Abstract: A system for determining authenticity of an item includes a processor and a memory. The memory includes instructions stored thereon, which when executed by the processor cause the system to assign a unique identifier to an item, generate a digital signature of the unique identifier of the item using a private key of a producing organization, generate a scannable code based on the generated digital signature and/or a base 64 encoded form of the generated digital signature, and embed in the item the scannable code and the unique item identifier, a name of the producing organization, and/or a public key server URL.

A controller is configured to establish a wireless streaming session between one or more access points and one or more client devices. A self-learning algorithm is executed to collect usage data of the client device and store the usage to create a usage history profile for the client device. The controller provides instruction to steer the client device to one of the access points based on the usage history profile of the client. Preferably, the content streaming apparatus is a home network controller. From the software/client end a steering app is downloadable to the client device for executing software associated with the self-learning algorithm.

The multimedia device may create an association between a user, a frequently viewed channel, and a time at which the channel is typically viewed by the user. A profile based viewing session or feature may be enabled at the multimedia device, wherein tuning decisions, channel change responses, and program information displays are controlled by the multimedia device based on a profile associated with a selected user.

The method further includes receiving at least one sub-task for a first task of the plurality of tasks and assigning the at least one sub-task a task priority identical to the task priority of the first task. In one alternative, the method further includes receiving a new task priority for the first task, assigning the new task priority to the first task and assigning the new task priority to the at least one sub-task of the first task. The method may also include an interface to allow starting of sub-tasks only when the parent task is started.

The method further includes generating buffers for each of the plurality of projects and reconciling project resources among the plurality of projects. The method further includes executing the plurality of project plans, including allowing a user to manage the buffers across the plurality of projects. The user is further provided with information associated with buffers for the plurality of projects, so as to evaluate the status of the plurality of projects. Additionally, the user is provided with task prioritization for any task of the plurality of projects, wherein task prioritization is calculated across the plurality of projects.
