  • Publication number: 20210075810
Abstract: A device receives network segment information identifying network segments associated with a network, and receives endpoint host session information identifying sessions associated with endpoint hosts communicating with the network. The device generates, based on the network segment information and the endpoint host session information, a data structure that includes information associating the network segments with the sessions associated with the endpoint hosts. The device updates the data structure based on changes in the sessions associated with the endpoint hosts and based on changes in locations of the endpoint hosts within the network segments, and identifies, based on the data structure, a particular endpoint host, of the endpoint hosts, that changed locations within the network segments. The device determines a threat policy action to enforce for the particular endpoint host, and causes the threat policy action to be enforced, by the network, for the particular endpoint host.

  • Publication number: 20210075767
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable media for preserving source host context when firewall policies are applied to traffic in an enterprise network fabric. A data packet to a destination host from a source host can be received at a first border node instance in an enterprise network fabric as part of network traffic. The data packet can include a context associated with the source host. Further, the data packet can be sent to a firewall of the enterprise network fabric and can be received at a second border node instance after the firewall applies a firewall policy to the data packet. The data packet can then be selectively encapsulated with the context associated with the source host at the second border node instance for applying one or more policies to control transmission of the network traffic through the enterprise network fabric.

  • Patent number: 10944793
Abstract: A device may receive first information associated with a set of security rules. The first information may identify a set of security actions a device is to implement when the set of security rules applies to traffic. The device may determine a manner in which the set of security rules is to apply using the first information. The device may determine whether the manner in which the set of security rules is to apply and an intent of a network security policy or a manner in which a set of previously defined security rules is to apply match to determine whether the set of security rules conflicts with the network security policy or whether the set of security rules and the set of previously defined security rules are related. The device may perform an action.

  • Patent number: 10939806
Abstract: Presented are systems and methods for the accurate acquisition of medical measurement data of a body part of patient. To assist in acquiring accurate medical measurement data, an automated diagnostic and treatment system provides instructions to the patient to allow the patient to precisely position a medical instrument in proximity to a target spot of a body part of patient. Based on a series of images acquired from a kiosk camera and an instrument camera, these instructions are generated. Subsequent images from instrument camera are analyzed by automated diagnostic and treatment system utilizing a database and deep convolution neural network (DCNN) to obtain measured medical data. An error threshold measurement by the automated diagnostic and treatment system may determine the accuracy of the instrument positioning and the medical measured data. The measured medical data may be communicated to a physician.

  • Patent number: 10943606
Abstract: Detecting an end-point of user's voice command or utterance with high accuracy is critical in automatic speech recognition (ASR)-based human machine interface. If an ASR system incorrectly detects an end-point of utterance and transmits this incomplete sentence to other processing blocks for further processing, it is likely the processed result would lead to incorrect interpretation. A method includes selecting a first semantic network based on context of the audio signal and more accurately detecting the end-point of user's utterance included in the audio signal based on the first semantic network and also based on at least one timeout threshold associated with the first semantic network.
