  • Publication number: 20200267084
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Some methods include receiving an indication of a traffic flow to be served by a wireless communication system, determining scheduling information for the traffic flow based on the indication, wherein the scheduling information comprises one or more of a time offset, a reliability, and a minimum throughput of delivery of data traffic for the flow, and transmitting the scheduling information in response to the indication. Some methods include determining delta time offset information relative to one or more existing time offsets of packet arrivals of one or more traffic flows for scheduling transmissions of a first traffic flow in the wireless communication system, and transmitting the delta time offset information to a node of the first traffic flow for scheduling transmissions of the first traffic flow in the wireless communication system. Other aspects and features are also claimed and described.

  • Publication number: 20200267049
Abstract: Techniques are presented in which a new information element signaling priority of a management entity is included in a setup (e.g., S1-Setup) response or configuration update message sent by a management entity to a base station entity. The base station entity interprets this priority information along with the relative capacity information in an appropriate way to load-distribute the traffic/calls to highly preferable management entity instances (at a local site) when they are available, and switchover/failover to lower preference management entity instances (at a remote site) when there is a local site outage/failure or insufficient capacity in a geo-resilient pooled network.

  • Patent number: 10749795
Abstract: Described embodiments provide systems and methods for selecting communication paths for applications sensitive to bursty packet drops. A device intermediary to a client and a server may identify an application for which packets are to be communicated between the client and the server. The device may determine a sensitivity level of the application to a network disruption affecting the packets. The device may estimate, for each path between the client and the server for communicating the one or more packets, a path quality for the path indicating a likelihood that the network disruption affects the one or more packets. The device may select path for communicating the packets based on the sensitivity level of the application and the path quality. The device may communicate the packets between the client and the server via the path.

  • Patent number: 10747779
Abstract: Technologies for synchronized overclocking setting between multiple networked computing devices include a master computing device and multiple slave computing devices communicating over a network. The master computing device establishes a connection with the slave computing devices. Establishing the connection may include synchronizing the slave computing devices with a master time clock of the master computing device. The master computing device determines its own overclocking setting and requests overclocking settings from the slave computing devices. The overclocking settings may include processor frequency, processor voltage, or other overclocking parameters. The master computing device determines a best overclocking setting from its own overclocking setting and the overclocking settings received from the slave computing device. The master computing device advertises the best overclocking setting to the slave computing devices. The slave computing devices may implement the best overclocking setting.

  • Patent number: 10747543
Abstract: At least some instructions executed in a pipeline are each associated with corresponding trace information that characterizes execution of that instruction in the pipeline. A predetermined type of store instructions flow through a subset of contiguous stages of the pipeline. A signal is received to store a portion of the trace information. A stage before the subset of contiguous stages is stalled. A store instruction of the predetermined type is inserted into a stage at the beginning of the subset of contiguous stages to enable the store instruction to reach the memory access stage at which an operand of the store instruction including the portion of the trace information is sent out of the pipeline. The store instruction is filtered from a stage of the subset of contiguous stages that occurs earlier in the pipeline than a stage in which trace information is generated.
