Abstract: The embodiments herein provide a method and system for a remote installation of software on a remote device. The system includes a server agent, a server, a client device, a client agent, a communication network, an active directory. The server agent pushes a software to a client device from a server, the software received by the client agent is passed on to the client device. The information about the client device is provided by the active directory. The status of the software installation is displayed on the user interface of the server. The server agent and the client agent communicates with each other using a communication network.
