  • Patent number: 12210998
Abstract: Mechanisms are disclosed for visualizing and comparing an import and update history of content package objects in an analytic content system. Object to package mapping identifiers corresponding to the content package object are received. A package-identifier object state of a state of the content package object is received corresponding to an imported package associated with a particular package identifier. A modified object state to an original object state is compared prior to re-export of the content package object. The current object state to an original object state of the content package object is compared prior to importing the content package object from the imported package. A visualization of an import history of the content package object is displayed. In response to determining that an issue is present with a most recent import of the one or more content package objects, imports are rolled back to a stable set of objects.

  • Patent number: 12174722
Abstract: An aspect of the present disclosure facilitates characterizing operation of software applications having large number of components. In one embodiment, a digital processing system receives a first data indicating invocation types and corresponding invocation counts at an entry component for multiple block durations, where the entry component causes execution of internal component of the software application. The system also receives a second data indicating values for a processing metric at the internal components for the same block durations. The system then constructs for each internal component, a corresponding component model correlating the values for the processing metrics at the internal component indicated in the second data to the invocation types and invocation counts of the entry component indicated in the first data. The component models can aid in the performance management of the software application.

  • Patent number: 12063266
Abstract: Object-based transportation between tenants may provide advantages over persistence layer-based transportation on a cloud platform in situations where persistence layer storage space is limited. Object based transportation involves obtaining a selection from the target tenant application of a set of objects from the plurality of objects and determining objects identifiers for each of the selected set of objects. For each object in the selected set of objects, a request is sent to a source tenant. The requests includes the corresponding object identifier for that object. Corresponding object data is received from the source tenant. At least a portion of the corresponding object data is stored in a target tenant database. An existing object may be updated or a new object may be created.

  • Publication number: 20240054145
Abstract: Efficient transport of content packages comprising multiple objects, is achieved utilizing lineage analysis. User selection of an object in a package, triggers a dependency request to a landscape containing the object. The landscape returns a dependencies result, which includes dependencies between the selected object and others present within the landscape. The dependencies result is used to create a dependents tree structure. Based upon the dependents tree and the originally selected object, a lineage view is created and afforded to the user. Example lineage views may comprise spider charts with the selected object at the center. The user may further explore object dependencies by interacting with the lineage view to create other lineage views. Providing intuitive visualization of object dependencies, aids in efficient package transport (e.g., by allowing a user to identify dependent object(s) missing from the package, and/or particular objects having many dependent objects that also require transport).

  • Patent number: 11646887
Abstract: Methods and systems for expedited authentication for mobile applications are described herein. A user of a mobile device may authenticate with an enterprise system, and thereby be granted access to enterprise applications and services on the mobile device. The user may then activate an application in a managed partition of the mobile device. The application may determine that the enterprise system supports expedited authentication. The application may request expedited authentication, and the request may be compared to policies for expedited authentication. If the request is permitted, the application may be granted access to an authorization code for expedited authentication. The application may then perform the expedited authentication, and the user may be granted access to the application when the expedited authentication has completed.

  • Patent number: 11567800
Abstract: An aspect of the present disclosure facilitates early identification of problems in execution of background processes. In one embodiment, a digital processing system characterizes the consumption of multiple resources during normal prior executions of a background process and determines a baseline pattern of consumption of resources for the background process. The system then monitors a current pattern of consumption of the resources during a current execution of the background process, and checks whether the current pattern of consumption has a deviation from the baseline pattern of consumption. The system notifies a potential problem with the current execution of the background process if a deviation is determined to exist. The notifications enable a user to get an early indication of potential problems during the execution of the background process itself.

  • Patent number: 11392629
Abstract: Methods, devices, and systems are described for creating and implementing search query vectors for knowledge base articles or other formal articles, the query vectors automatically created from informal correspondence such as a service request email to an information technology (IT) department. Term frequency-inverse document frequency (TF-IDF) scores are calculated for rarewords in the correspondence with respect to a corpus of other service requests. High scoring terms with the same neighbors as those in the corpus of formal articles are added to the search query vector, while high scoring terms that do not share the same neighbors are thrown out. The query vector is then used to run a search of the knowledge base for relevant articles.
