Publication number: 20250023787Abstract: In an example, a validation system comprises processing circuitry having access to a storage device and is configured to obtain flow records indicative of packet flows among workloads deployed to a cluster of one or more computing devices configured with a network policy, wherein each flow record of the flow records indicates a corresponding packet flow was allowed or denied by the cluster; receive an updated network policy; determine whether a corresponding packet flow for a flow record of the flow records has a discrepancy with the updated network policy; and in response to determining the corresponding packet flow for the flow record of the flow records has a discrepancy with the updated network policy, output an indication of an error.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 23, 2024Publication date: January 16, 2025Inventors: Prasad Miriyala, FNU Nadeem, Sayali Mane, Ankur Tandon, Sajeesh Mathew, Pranav Cherukupalli, Khushi Vaidya

Publication number: 20240410541Abstract: The embodiments herein disclose a system and method for recycling light in home/store/commercial buildings and streetlight fixtures. In an embodiment, the principle of recycling (or harvesting) light is mainly by designing a special recycling light fixture or by retrofitting existing light fixtures. The recycling light fixture has a lining plurality of photovoltaic cells which captures the light emitted by the plurality of light emitting devices in the recycling light fixture itself. The recycling light fixture includes the plurality of light emitting devices comprising light bulb/LED that emits light in all directions. The recycling light fixture includes a structure that captures the light emitted towards the fixture (the ceiling), generates electricity using the plurality of photovoltaic cell and feeds it back into the same recycling light fixture itself, thereby recycling the unused light and reducing the power consumption from the power grid.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 9, 2022Publication date: December 12, 2024Inventors: Bansi Pranav VAIDYA, Pranav Jagadishchandra VAIDYA

Patent number: 11893423Abstract: A parallel processing unit (PPU) can be divided into partitions. Each partition is configured to operate similarly to how the entire PPU operates. A given partition includes a subset of the computational and memory resources associated with the entire PPU. Software that executes on a CPU partitions the PPU for an admin user. A guest user is assigned to a partition and can perform processing tasks within that partition in isolation from any other guest users assigned to any other partitions. Because the PPU can be divided into isolated partitions, multiple CPU processes can efficiently utilize PPU resources.Type: GrantFiled: September 5, 2019Date of Patent: February 6, 2024Assignee: NVIDIA CORPORATIONInventors: Jerome F. Duluk, Jr., Gregory Scott Palmer, Jonathon Stuart Ramsey Evans, Shailendra Singh, Samuel H. Duncan, Wishwesh Anil Gandhi, Lacky V. Publication number: 20230297485Abstract: Various embodiments include a system for generating performance monitoring data in a computing system. The system includes a unit level counter with a set of counters, where each counter increments during each clock cycle in which a corresponding electronic signal is at a first state, such as a high or low logic level state. Periodically, the unit level counter transmits the counter values to a corresponding counter collection unit. The counter collection unit includes a set of counters that aggregates the values of the counters in multiple unit level counters. Based on certain trigger conditions, the counter collection unit transmits records to a reduction channel. The reduction channel includes a set of counters that aggregates the values of the counters in multiple counter collection units. Each virtual machine executing on the system can access a different corresponding reduction channel, providing secure performance metric data for each virtual machine.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 18, 2022Publication date: September 21, 2023Inventors: Pranav VAIDYA, Alan MENEZES, Siddharth SHARMA, Jin OUYANG, Gregory Paul SMITH, Timothy J.
