  • Patent number: 10853572
Abstract: A system and method can detect and/or prevent profane/objectionable content in forums/communities with community based or user generated content. The system generates and provides a disallowed variants dictionary, which can be constructed based on a misuse table, wherein the disallowed variants dictionary contains a plurality of variants of one or more disallowed words in a community based or user generated content. Furthermore, the system checks each word in an incoming message against the disallowed variants dictionary, and determines that one or more words in the incoming message are disallowed when there is a hit.

  • Patent number: 10164901
Abstract: In embodiments, a data center selection system can select a chosen data center (DC) for an order submitted to a cloud computing system using a preprocessing layer and a rules engine that incorporates action/algorithm-based selection using data center metrics to determine the chosen DC. In various embodiments, the data center selection system retrieves order information, objectives, rules, algorithms, and other data defined by an administrator. The data center selection system can then retrieve data center information aggregated from various data centers. Using order information received from an order management system, the data center selection system can utilizes the preprocessing layer, the rules engine, and the algorithm-based selection to select the chosen DC. The data center selection system can send an order request to the chosen DC in which to provision services for the order request.

  • Patent number: 9043757
Abstract: An aspect of the present invention identifies differences between source codes (e.g. of different versions of a software), when each source code is organized using incorporated files. In one embodiment, in response to receiving identifiers of a first and second source codes (each source code being organized as a corresponding set of code files), listings of the instructions in the first and second source codes are constructed. Each listing is constructed, for example, by replacing each incorporate statement in the source code with instructions stored in a corresponding one of code files. The differences between the first and second source codes are then found by comparing the constructed listings of instructions.

  • Patent number: 8935663
Abstract: An aspect of the present invention identifies deprecated routines invoked by a software application implementing subtype polymorphism by examination of the software application, without having to execute the software instructions. In one embodiment, upon receiving software instructions constituting the software application, the polymorphic data types, variables of the data types, and a corresponding set of assignments for each variable are identified in the received software instructions. The specific instructions containing invocations of routines associated with the identified variables are also found. In response to finding the invocations, the routines that are invoked corresponding to the specific instructions are determined. The specific (determined) routines that are deprecated are ascertained and a report is thereafter generated indicating the specific routines.
