Abstract: A new device and a method for joining, fixing and aligning broken bones and dislocated joint of vertebrates is disclosed. A preferred embodiment of the device comprises a uniplanar-bilateral frame for stable fixation of dome osteomy of upper end of tibia. The device enables positioning of orthopedic pins either in parallel or in a desired angle in relation to each other. The device according to this disclosure allows corrections and adjustments during and after surgery.
