Abstract: Methods and systems for result aggregation in crowdsourcing are described. In one implementation, a task with a plurality of solution options is provided for workers to respond. Responses for the task are received from multiple workers, where each of the responses includes a worker response confidence value corresponding to one of the plurality of solution options. The worker response confidence value is indicative of confidence of a worker for the one of the plurality of solution options to be correct. A task answer for the task is estimated based on at least the worker response confidence value received from each of the multiple workers. A performance bonus for each of the multiple workers is computed based on the task answer, the worker response confidence value in the response from each worker, and a Proper Scoring Rule.

Abstract: Presented is a method, system and computer readable product to search a task-based web interaction. A task-based web interaction search query is provided to a search engine. The search results are classified into a set of information parameters. The information parameters are compared against a repository containing multiple sets of information parameters. Upon identification of a corresponding set of information parameters, a task-based web interaction associated with the identified set of information parameters is presented.

Abstract: Provided is a method of preventing an unauthorized publication of a media object. On receipt of a user request to prevent an unauthorized publication of a media object, a video link is established with the user. An image of the user is received from the video link and a determination is made whether the image of the user correspond with an image in the media object. Based on said determination an action is performed with regard to the unauthorized publication of the media object.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method and computer program product of determining the relevance of at least a part of an electronic document comprising a plurality of terms distributed over a plurality of regions of said document, comprising displaying the electronic document to a user; determining the gaze characteristics of the person on a region of the electronic document; assigning a relevance score to an individual term in said region based on said characteristics; and generating a term relevance label for said electronic document, said term relevance label comprising relevance scores for the respective individual terms in said document The relevance scores may also be used to define a user profile for the user that can aid in retrieving future documents of relevance to the user.

Abstract: Systems and methods for task assignment in crowdsourcing are described. In one implementation, a method comprises receiving task information from a requester, the task information comprising at least details of a task, an accuracy level for task completion, and a budget for the task. The method further comprises computing expected costs of completing the task to achieve the accuracy level within the budget based on the task information, and recommending an assignment of the task to agents based on the computation.
