Abstract: A system for determining when to order computing resources includes one or more processors to receive a request to determine when to order computing resources for a computing environment, receive at least one report for the computing environment, the report detailing past usage of at least one object included in the computing environment over a period of time, compute future usage of the at least one object included in the computing environment based on estimated growth of utilization of the at least one object included in the computing environment using data in the at least one usage report, determine at least one recommended reorder point for an upgrade to the at least one object and at least one recommended upgrade for the computing environment based on the past usage, the future usage, and a time to complete and deploy the at least one recommended upgrade to the computing environment.

Abstract: A method for determining policies for cloud orchestrators is provided. The method includes sending from a server to a client device, availability and pricing information pertaining to a plurality of constraints relating to a plurality of resources as managed by a plurality of cloud orchestrators, for selection. The method includes receiving at the server, via the network, the selection from the client device and generating, at the server, a policy for at least one of the plurality of cloud orchestrators, based on the selection.

Abstract: A tenant-based distributed computing environment management system includes a service that is executed on a computing system to allocate a subset of the resources for use by each of a plurality of tenants, and generate a plurality of tags for each resource in the subset in which each tag includes tenant information associated with the tenant to whom the subset of resources are allocated. The service may then identify, for at least one of the tenants, the subset of resources allocated to the tenant, and transmit information associated with the identified subset of resources to a computing device of the tenant.

Abstract: A system for comparing disparate computing resource offerings receives a request to compare at least one computing resource offering for a computing environment, the request including at least one infrastructure requirement and a computing environment design topology, the request associated with a unique order identifier, transmits the request to at least one computing resource provider via at least one provider application programming interface (API), the at least one computing resource provider comprising one of an external computing resource provider and an internal computing resource provider, receives a list of at least one computing resource offering from the at least one computing resource provider, normalizes the at least one computing resource offering based on the at least one infrastructure requirement and the computing environment design, and compares the at least one computing resource offering based on the at least one infrastructure requirement and the computing environment design topology.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer readable mediums for defining and updating a virtual converged infrastructure system comprising distributed resource components are disclosed. According to one method, the method includes identifying resource components collectively contained in a plurality of computing systems interconnected to form a computing system network. The method further includes generating an index that specifies a plurality of candidate virtual computing systems, wherein each of the candidate virtual computing systems includes resource components from two or more of the computing systems and utilizing the index to select a virtual computing system from among the candidate virtual computing systems. The method also includes applying identification data corresponding to resource components of the selected virtual computing system as input to a certified computing configuration to identify a level of compliance of the selected virtual computing system.
