Patent number: 12028742Abstract: A method of wireless communication by a user equipment (UE) includes determining an original amount of uplink data stored in a non-compression buffer, the original amount of data designated to be transmitted to a network. The method also includes predicting, with a machine learning model, an amount of compression gain for the original amount of uplink data. The compression gain is obtained by compressing the original amount of uplink data during a time delay. The method further includes generating a buffer status report based on the original amount of uplink data and the predicted amount of compression gain. The method transmits the buffer status report to the network.Type: GrantFiled: January 4, 2022Date of Patent: July 2, 2024Assignee: QUALCOMM IncorporatedInventors: Vijay Kumar Bolleni, Rajashekar Chilla, Prachi Agrawal, Prasad Gadde

Patent number: 10384775Abstract: Methods, devices, and systems of various embodiments are disclosed for managing a vehicle charging station having a docking terminal. In various embodiments, a priority of a first autonomous vehicle and a second autonomous vehicle may be determined for using the docking terminal when a docking request is received from the second autonomous vehicle while the first autonomous vehicle occupies the docking terminal. In some embodiments, the priorities of the first and second autonomous vehicles may be based on an available power level of each of the first and second autonomous vehicles. The first autonomous vehicle may be instructed to undock from the docking terminal in response to determining that the second autonomous vehicle has a higher priority.Type: GrantFiled: November 10, 2017Date of Patent: August 20, 2019Assignee: QUALCOMM IncorporatedInventors: Parthasarathy Krishnamoorthy, Prashanth Mohan, KrishnaKumar Vasanthasenan, Suman Kumar Sinha, Prasad Gadde, Ramu Thondapu, Sri Sai Kandakatla, Prachi Agrawal

Publication number: 20170093624Abstract: Described herein are apparatuses, methods, and computer readable media for configuring a router. An exemplary method comprises determining a first subnet associated with the router, the router having a first configuration setting; updating the first configuration setting for the router; in response to updating the first configuration setting, determining whether a second subnet is associated with the router; determining whether the router is connected to a client device that has a network address associated with the first subnet; and determining whether to disassociate the first subnet from the router based, at least in part, on whether the router is connected to the client device that has the network address associated with the first subnet.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 25, 2015Publication date: March 30, 2017Inventors: Ramu Thondapu, Chaitanya Pratapa, Prasad Gadde, Rohit Tripathi, Siddharth Gupta, Pranav Desai

Publication number: 20120059918Abstract: In a wireless data packet network, a single mobile device is provisioned to support a plurality of user profiles including a service or application that can be associated to multiple profiles. Arbitration for requests for a data connection can be made based upon priority, with applications having the same priority allowed to share the data connection. In some instances, the profile used to establish the data connection does not support the application that can be associated to multiple profiles, such as Location Based Services (LBS). To minimize subsequent rejections of requests for a data connection by the LBS, capability scans or updates determine what services are supported by the currently active profiles.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 8, 2010Publication date: March 8, 2012Applicant: QUALCOMM IncorporatedInventors: Prasad Gadde, Debesh Kumar Sahu, Parmjeet Singh
