  • Patent number: 11117330
Abstract: A housing for use in connection with an inflation device can be coupled to a syringe body by a snap-fit connection. The snap-fit type mechanism can include an adaptor and a lock, such as a depressible lock. The housing can enclose an electrical circuit and a display screen that rests on a plurality of resilient pins. The circuit board may be held in place within the housing via one or more heat pins. The inflation device can be configured to measure pressure within a fluid reservoir of a syringe.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: July 6, 2016
Date of Patent: September 14, 2021
    Assignee: Merit Medical Systems, Inc.
Inventors: Prasad Weerakoon, Jon Davis, Russell D. Heyborne, Larry T. Wilde
  • Patent number: 10765839
Abstract: A syringe assembly or inflation device that includes a detachable housing. A pressure-sensing syringe assembly or inflation device can include both a syringe barrel and a housing that is coupled to the syringe barrel in a locked configuration. The inflation device can transition from the locked configuration to the unlocked configuration in which the housing is separable from the syringe barrel. Related methods are also disclosed.

    Assignee: Merit Medical Systems, Inc.
Inventors: Jon Davis, Prasad Weerakoon, Russell D. Heyborne
  • Patent number: 10426935
Abstract: A syringe body is disclosed, wherein the syringe body is configured to withstand pressures within a fluid reservoir of the syringe body of between about 0 atmospheres (atm) and about 81 atm and/or between about 0 atm and about 109 atm. The syringe body may be configured for use in connection with an inflation device. The syringe body may comprise one or more stiffening ribs and/or a stiffening lip. Methods of using the syringe body in connection with an inflation device are also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 10346568
Abstract: A method for collaborative finite analysis may include obtaining an electronic model of an engineering object, assigning users one or more geometries for pre-analysis editing to provide assigned geometries for each user, and enabling each user to conduct pre-analysis editing of their assigned geometries concurrent with other users. The method may also include conducting finite analysis on the assigned geometries of a first user concurrent with conducting finite analysis on the assigned geometries of a second user. Examples of pre-analysis editing include removing features that are secondary to analysis, applying a material definition to a geometry, pre-meshing a geometry, initiating automated meshing of a geometry, validating automated meshing of a geometry, editing a mesh for a geometry, manually meshing a geometry, defining one or more loads associated with a geometry, and defining one or more boundary conditions for a geometry. A corresponding system and apparatus are also disclosed herein.

  • Patent number: 10242430
Abstract: A method for collaborative CAx editing may include enabling a user to define a partitioning constraint for a design space and partitioning the design space into editing regions according to the partitioning constraint and assigning users to specific editing regions. The method may also include displaying a feature tree, enabling a user to select and lock a selected feature for editing by a specified user, enabling the specified user to edit the selected feature and blocking access from other users to the selected feature. An apparatus corresponding to the above method is also disclosed herein.
