    Abstract: A system and method for optimizing shipment of containers between fulfillment centers are described. The system identifies a buyer fulfillment center associated with a region of a delivery address of a buyer of an item listed in an online marketplace. The item is physically held at a seller fulfillment center. The system identifies a container having a prescheduled shipping route from the seller fulfillment center to the buyer fulfillment center. Space availability in the container is determined when the buyer views the item in the online marketplace. The system determines whether the container can receive the item based on an identification of the item and the space availability of the container and computes a shipping discount offer based on the space availability of the container. The buyer is notified of the shipping discount offer valid for a limited amount of time after the buyer views the item in the online marketplace.

    Abstract: A system and method for an antifraud shipping label system are described. The antifraud shipping label system includes a stamp generator and a stamp transaction registration module. The stamp generator generates stamps corresponding to a seller registered with an online marketplace application. Each stamp has a unique identifier with respect to the online marketplace application. The stamps are mailed to the seller. The stamp transaction registration module generates a presentation in which the identifiers that correspond to the stamps mailed to the seller are each partially displayed within the presentation. The stamp transaction registration module receives a selection of a partially displayed identifier as a selection made the seller, and associate shipping information from a transaction of the seller in the online marketplace application with the entirety of the partially displayed identifier selected by the seller.

A guaranteed shipping cost qualification module determines whether an item to be listed by a seller in an online marketplace qualifies for a guaranteed shipping cost listing. An estimated shipping cost computation module computes an estimated shipping cost of the item. A shipping cost reconciliation module reconciles an accrual of the estimated shipping cost received from the buyer with an actual shipping cost received from a shipping service provider for shipping the item. A learning module adjusts the estimated shipping cost computation module based on the reconciliation between the estimated shipping cost and the actual shipping cost.
