Patent number: 11979288Abstract: Systems are methods are described which allow for “zero-touch” provisioning (ZTP) to be used to seamlessly bring up devices such as Gateways/Access Points/Switches or any other networking devices connected over different uplink types such as aggregated links (Static LAG, LACP), trunk ports, and the like. Provisioning is adapted specifically for trunk and/or LACP ports in order to maintain the automation and optimization benefits typically provided by ZTP. A method can include transmitting a discover message, and receiving a response message based on the discover message. Then, determining whether a pre-defined extension is included in the response message that indicates a port type and a virtual local area network (VLAN) configuration. Automatic configuration of one or more ports and a VLAN can be performed as indicated by the pre-defined extension. Thus, ZTP can be restarted in accordance with the configuration of the network device.Type: GrantFiled: April 29, 2021Date of Patent: May 7, 2024Assignee: Hewlett Packard Enterprise Development LPInventors: Hari Krishna Kurmala, Prasanna Sridharan, Dhrumil Desai

Patent number: 9686330Abstract: In a multicast publisher-subscriber environment, a plurality of receiver machines are managed by a configurator machine. A consumer address of a receiver machine is received from a configurator machine. The consumer address is generated by the configurator machine based on registration data transmitted by the receiver machine. A communication is generated based on the consumer address, the communication indicating an availability of the receiver machine to receive messages that correspond to a topic. The communication is transmitted via a network, and in response to the communication, at least one message is received.Type: GrantFiled: February 22, 2016Date of Patent: June 20, 2017Assignee: eBay Inc.Inventors: Sharad R. Murthy, Prasanna Krishna

Patent number: 9270731Abstract: In a multicast publisher-subscriber environment, a configurator machine manages a consumer pool of multiple receiver machines. The consumer pool is dedicated to a topic. Each receiver machine has a unique consumer address within the consumer pool allocated by the configurator machine. The configurator machine receives registration data from a receiver machine to be added to the consumer pool and provides a consumer address to the receiver machine. The receiver machine transmits a multicast communication to advertise its availability to receive messages on the topic. The multicast communication includes the consumer address. A transmitter machine may publish a message on the topic. The message may be a multicast communication directed to any receiver machine in to the consumer pool, or the message may be a point-to-point communication directed to the receiver machine with the consumer address.Type: GrantFiled: February 11, 2014Date of Patent: February 23, 2016Assignee: eBay Inc.Inventors: Sharad Murthy, Prasanna Krishna

Patent number: 8907084Abstract: The invention relates to a process for the production of 2AEE with selectivity towards 2AEE being significantly higher i.e. the ratio of 2AEE:morpholine >3. DEG and Ammonia are reacted in a continuous mode in hydrogen atmosphere in the presence of a catalyst at temperature of 150° C. to 250° C. and pressure of 10 Bar to 20 Bar, the products being separated by distillation. The catalyst used is metal and its oxide or metal oxide on silica or alumina support. The molar ratio of ammonia:DEG is >20 and the molar ratio of hydrogen:DEG is >1, preferably 1-30. The reactants are optionally fed in a downward flow mode. The catalyst charged into the reactor has metal and its oxide or metal oxide equivalent to a metal content of 10% to 70% on the support.Type: GrantFiled: September 14, 2010Date of Patent: December 9, 2014Assignee: Alkyl Amines Chemicals Ltd.Inventors: Sameer Sharad Katdare, Prasanna Krishna Somalwar, Vishwanathan Ramaswamy, Saimani Srinivasan
