The controller is communicably coupled to the position sensor and the spray head actuator, and is configured to determine a spray characteristic of a spray produced by the spray head based on the position signal, and control the spray head actuator based on the spray characteristic.

    Abstract: The wait water collection system provided herein may be used to reducing the amount of water wasted while a shower, for example, warms up. The wait water collection system may include a hot water input carrying hot water to the system. The hot water may or may not be “hot” when delivered by the hot water input and may need to “warm up.” The wait water collection system may include a thermal diverter on a water line where the hot water travels, which may adjust based on whether the temperature of the hot water meets a temperature threshold. If the water does not meet the temperature threshold, then the hot water may be delivered to an expansion vessel. If the water meets or exceeds the temperature threshold, then the hot water may be delivered to a mixer valve for providing the water to a user.

    Abstract: A low water consumption showerhead may provide users with the experience of higher water pressure without necessarily requiring an increased supply of water. A first example showerhead may include nozzles having coaxial inner and outer chambers, each of which may provide a user with one or more different types of media. The inner chamber of the nozzle may be adjustable with respect to the outer chamber, which may allow a user to manipulate the relative rate of flow from both chambers. A second example showerhead may include a spiral channel along which one or more types of media may flow. Outlets may be positioned along the spiral channel such that a portion of the media within the spiral channel may exit the showerhead and be directed to a user. The width or area of the spiral channel may taper such that substantially consistent pressure may be provided at each outlet.

    Abstract: Provided herein is a showerhead that may include inlets, inlet channels, and nozzles. The inlets may provide different media to the showerhead. The inlet channels may be connected to the inlets, such that the media flowing into the inlets flows through the inlet channels. The nozzles may include outlet channels, each of which are operably coupled to one of the inlet channels. As one example, the inlets may provide a first media (air) and a second media (water). When the first media mixes with the second media into an output, the flow rate of the output is greater than the flow rate of the second media. Even when a decreased water flow rate is used, a user perceives a high flow rate due to the introduction of air into the water.

The spiral trapway includes an upstream portion coupled to a toilet bowl, a curved portion, and a downstream portion coupled to a waste outlet. The drive mechanism is coupled to the spiral trapway and configured to rotate the spiral trapway from a first orientation to a second orientation. The first orientation evacuates contents from the toilet bowl and the second orientation advances the contents from the spiral trapway to the waste outlet.
