  • Patent number: 12268399
Abstract: A rotary surgical assembly is disclosed. The assembly has a plurality of cutting teeth (216), a hollow dome (200) and a spindle (10). The hollow dome has a pole having a pole axis X, and a cutting surface featuring some of the cutting teeth. The cutting surface includes a curved part (214) and a substantially flat part (212) proximal the pole with an aperture (210) extending therethrough. The spindle has a proximal end (12) and a distal end (14) including a spindle mounting element (16). The spindle mounting element is secured to the dome beneath the substantially flat part of the cutting surface. The spindle mounting element has a cutting tooth (22) that extends distally through the cutting surface's aperture to form one of the said plurality of cutting teeth. A kit, and methods of manufacturing the rotary surgical assembly are described also.

  • Publication number: 20240319885
Abstract: In some examples, a system creates a training data set based on features of sample workloads, the training data set comprising labels associated with the features of the sample workloads, where the labels are based on load indicators generated in a computing environment relating to load conditions of the computing environment resulting from execution of the sample workloads. The system groups selected workloads into a plurality of workload clusters based on features of the selected workloads, and computes, using a model trained based on the training data set, parameters representing contributions of respective workload clusters of the plurality of workload clusters to a load in the computing environment. The system performs workload management in the computing environment based on the computed parameters.

  • Publication number: 20230091848
Abstract: The present invention relates to systems, kits, and methods for identifying subjects with increased levels of phenylacetyl glutamine (PAG) or the combination of PAG and trimethylamine-n-oxide (TMAO) and/or N6-trimethyl-lysine (TML), and/or PSA, pp and/or betaine, and/or choline, as well as methods of determining risk of disease (e.g., CVD, heart failure, asthma, diabetes, thrombosis, and lethal prostate cancer) based on such levels. In certain embodiments, the subjects are free of chronic kidney disease and/or have type II diabetes. In particular embodiments, subjects are treated with a therapeutic, such as a beta-adrenergic blocking agent, an alpha 2 adrenergic receptor agonist, an alpha 2 adrenergic receptor antagonist, an antibiotic or antibiotic cocktail, or a prostate cancer therapeutic. In certain embodiments, the subject is treated with a procedure such as brachytherapy, radiation therapy, or prostatectomy.
