Abstract: Example embodiments relate to providing package dependency maps for distributed computing. In example embodiments, a dependency map is obtained that includes software packages, where each software package is associated with a site and a distributed node of a distributed system. In response to a user selection of a target package in the dependency map, a referenced subset on which the target package depends and a dependent subset that depend on the target package are determined. At this stage, a display of the dependency map is updated to include the target package, the referenced subset, and the dependent subset in a graphical hierarchy.
