  • Publication number: 20230421243
Abstract: A method for flight management of a fleet of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) is provided. The method includes receiving, by a ground station, network data from at least one network operator and determining whether sensor data associated with a UAV is received from the UAV within a predefined time duration from an instance of previous reception of the sensor data. Furthermore, the method includes generating a quality of communication (QoC) value associated with a communication between the ground station and the UAV and determining if the generated QoC value is within a predefined QoC range. Further, the method includes establishing a communication between the ground station and the UAV by using an alternate communication channel upon determining that the QoC value is outside the predefined QoC range.

  • Patent number: 10852799
Abstract: Disclosed herein are systems and techniques for adaptive use of multiple power supplies in a communication system. For example, in some embodiments, a slave device may include: an upstream transceiver to couple to an upstream link of a bus of a communication system; and circuitry to couple to the upstream link of the bus and to a local power supply, wherein the circuitry is to switch from providing the local power supply to power the slave device to providing bus power supplied by the upstream link of the bus to power the slave device.
