  • Patent number: 11883628
Abstract: An application device for a fluid delivery includes a housing having a bore extending from a bottom of the housing. The bore is sized and shaped for receiving at least a portion of the fluid delivery apparatus. The application device also includes an impact component for impacting the fluid delivery apparatus and moving at least a portion of the fluid delivery apparatus towards a user's skin. The application device includes a safety arm that is positionable relative to the impact component between a locked configuration in which the impact component is secured in a safety position, and a released configuration in which the impact component is free to move within the housing for impacting the fluid delivery apparatus.

  • Patent number: 11559674
Abstract: A fluid delivery apparatus includes a collet assembly having an upper and lower wall attached at a central portion of the collet. The central portion defines an inner step, and the lower wall includes circumferentially-spaced flexible tabs. The fluid delivery apparatus also includes a fluid distribution assembly coupled to the collet assembly. The fluid distribution assembly is positionable relative to the collet between a pre-use configuration and a pre-activated configuration. The fluid distribution assembly has a plenum that includes a sleeve component having an exterior ledge extending thereabout. A lower wall portion of the sleeve component includes protrusions corresponding to the flexible tabs of the collet. In the pre-use configuration the exterior ledge of the sleeve component is engaged with the inner step of the collet assembly, and each flexible tab engages a respective protrusion to provide a snap-fit between the fluid distribution assembly and the collet assembly.

  • Patent number: 11219721
Abstract: An attachment band for a fluid delivery apparatus includes an annular body having a wall defining a hollow inner space, an adjacent pair of attachment apertures extending through the wall, and an indicator aperture extending through the wall opposite the pair of attachment apertures. The indicator aperture includes an indicator portion that is configured to present an indication to a user of the fluid delivery apparatus of a tightness of the attachment band. A first strap extends radially outward from the annular body of the attachment band and is substantially aligned with the attachment apertures. A second strap extends radially outward from the annular body and is substantially aligned with the indicator aperture.
