    Abstract: A method of displaying objects of an application executes the application on a computer system. The application is configured to generate a plurality of application windows, and at least one of those application windows has indicia representing an object of something being developed by the application. The method then displays first and second application windows in a first window group on one or more monitors, and drags the second application window into a second window group to produce a given layout across the first and second window groups. In this case, the first application window remains in the first window group. The two application windows preferably are produced by a single instance of the application.
