  • Publication number: 20250080285
Abstract: The invention relates to a transmitting device for performing an initial and one or more retransmissions of data via a sidelink interface. A receiver and processor perform a resource sensing procedure to acquire information about radio resources usable for the device to transmit data at a later point in time. The processor performs an autonomous radio resource allocation to select time-frequency radio resources within a transmission window to be used for performing a first transmission of the data, based on information acquired by the resource sensing procedure. The processor determines a data transmission timing pattern, that indicates a transmission timing for performing one or more transmissions of data. A transmitter performs the first data transmission using the selected time-frequency radio resources and performs the data retransmissions at the transmission timing defined by the determined data transmission timing pattern with respect to the first data transmission.

  • Patent number: 12240484
Abstract: Tracking perception and/or planning component decisions may comprise generating a data structure in association with an output determined by a component. This data structure, along with one or more data structures generated in association with other outputs generated by the same or different components of the vehicle, may be used to determine a trace that identifies component(s) that determined outputs that affected a particular component's generation of an output. This trace and/or factors identified by the data structure may be used to detect a problem with a component; identify a component or output therefrom that may be causing an error; determine a portion of a component that has been activated and a frequency associated therewith; and/or visualize operation of the vehicle associated with activation of particular components, among additional or alternate uses discussed herein.

  • Publication number: 20250071766
Abstract: The present invention relates to a D2D capable a communication method and to a transmitting user equipment, which transmits data to a receiving user equipment over a direct link data channel, uses the services of the eNodeB in order to have resources allocated for transmitting said data. To this end the UE sends to the eNB scheduling information using resources of a subframe dedicated for standard uplink communication through the eNodeB, rather than using resources on the subframe dedicated to D2D data transmission. In order to allow the eNB to distinguish whether the received scheduling request is for allocating resources for transmitting data over the direct link channel or over the eNB, UE may send along with the scheduling information also identification information associated to the scheduling information.

  • Publication number: 20250068177
Abstract: Example implementations are directed to systems and methods for providing transportation service using an autonomous vehicle (AV) of a third-party system based on multiple stopping locations. A service assignment system receives, from a user, a service request from the user for a transportation service. The system can detect a location of the user and determine whether to share the user location with the third-party system. Based on the determining, the system provides either the user location or a selected pickup location, whereby the selected pickup location is a pickup location determined by the service assignment system or the user. In response to providing the user location or the selected pickup location, the system receives multiple AV stopping locations from the third-party system. An AV stopping location is selected from the multiple AV stopping locations. The AV is then triggered to travel to the selected AV stopping location.

  • Publication number: 20250069134
Abstract: An autonomous vehicle (AV) system is described. The AV system receives a request for a transportation service associated with pickup and drop off (PUDO) locations. The AV system, in response to receiving the request, transmits data representing the PUDO locations to an AV service provider and receives a proposed navigation plan, for an AV, that includes the PUDO locations. The AV system determines whether the proposed navigation plan received from the AV service provider satisfies one or more trip quality criteria. The AV system selectively transmits an offer to the AV service provider to perform the transportation service in response to determining whether the proposed navigation plan received from the AV service provider satisfies the one or more trip quality criteria, the offer comprising the PUDO locations and service quality information corresponding to the one or more trip quality criteria.

  • Publication number: 20250062879
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for transmitting a periodic channel quality report (CSI) and/or a sounding reference symbol (SRS) from a UE to an eNodeB. To avoid double decoding at the eNodeB in transient phases, a deterministic behavior of the UE is defined by the invention, according to which the eNodeB can unambiguously determine whether the UE will transmit the CSI/SRS or not. According to one embodiment, the UL grants and/or DL assignments received until and including subframe N?4 only are considered; UL grants and/or DL assignments received by the UE after subframe N?4 are discarded for the determination. Additionally, DRX-related timers at subframe N?4 are considered for the determination. In a second embodiment, DRX MAC control elements from the eNodeB, instructing the UE to enter DRX, i.e., become Non-Active, are only considered for the determination if they are received before subframe N?4, i.e., until and including subframe N?(4+k).
