    Abstract: A method of state detection for a container load includes: during a load process for a container at a load bay, controlling a sensor assembly to capture successive sets of sensor data depicting an interior of the container; at a computing device: for successive sets of the sensor data, detecting items placed in the container interior, and determining, based on the detected items, respective fullness indicators for the container interior; detecting, based on the fullness indicators, an idle time period for the container interior; in response to determining that the idle time period exceeds an inactivity threshold: (i) when a current fullness indicator does not meet a target, sending a first notification to a client device associated with the container load; and (ii) when the current fullness indicator meets the target, sending a second notification to the client device, and monitoring the sensor data for a container door closure event.
