Abstract: A computing platform may comprise a receiver, which may identify inappropriate words in the original audio portion of a multimedia stream. The receiver may allow a user to store the inappropriate words in a memory and then compare the words in the original audio stream with the inappropriate words stored in the memory. If there is a match then such words may be filtered or blanked off from the original audio portion to generate a modified audio portion. The modified audio portion and the video portion may be synchronized to generate a synchronized multimedia stream, which may be void of inappropriate words.
