Abstract: A system for adaptive control of non-thermal plasma treatment on a patient. The system has a electrosurgical generator, having a power module, a memory, a first current sensor configured to sense an electrical current on the active electrode, a second current sensor configured to sense a current on the return electrode, a voltage sensor configured to sense a voltage difference between the active electrode and the return electrode, and a feedback control module, wherein the control module is configured to automatically adjusts a power output of the electrosurgical generator based on outputs of the first current sensor, the second current sensor and the voltage sensor to maintain an electrical current on the active electrode within a range to provide non-thermal plasma.
