Abstract: Various embodiments of a system and method for authoritative item identification based on facility operations are described. Embodiments may include an authoritative item identification component configured to, for each particular item of multiple items in inventory of a materials handling facility, determine multiple identifiers for the particular item, where one or more of the multiple identifiers are electronically obtained from a unit of the particular item during operations of the materials handling facility. The authoritative item identification component may, for each of the multiple identifiers, determine a quantity of instances in which that identifier was electronically obtained from a given unit of the particular item. The authoritative item identification component may, based on a statistical analysis of the quantities, determine one of the multiple identifiers as being an authoritative identifier for the particular item.

Abstract: A systems, method, and computer program product for evaluating an insurance policy underwriting and rating instance is disclosed. The system may include a lexer module on a computer, a parser module on a computer, and a generator module on a computer. The lexer module may be configured to tokenize the insurance policy instance. The parser module may be configured to parse the tokenized insurance policy instance. The generator module may be configured to receive a profile associated with an insured person; and evaluate the insurance policy instance by applying the profile to the insurance policy instance.

Abstract: A computerized system and method for building a business process test repository. This repository could be used to test and optimize business processes in an organization. In many cases, the test cases in the repository may be reused for different applications and/or products. Embodiments of the system develop test cases from a domain point of view and not from the application point of view. In some such embodiments, the test cases would not refer to any application, application user interface, screens, or user interface events, but would be from the vantage point of business actions. The test cases in the repository could be taken as a basis for starting a testing effort and customizing the test case for the application specific details.
