Abstract: Example implementations relate to identifying file system objects of a file system for generating an initial baseline of the file system. In an example, an inode table of the file system is retrieved. Modes included in the inode table correspond respectively to file system objects of the file system. Attributes, including an object identifier and a time attribute, are extracted from each of the inodes of the inode table. A compilation of the object identifiers from the extracted attributes are provided to a service that generates the initial baseline of the file system using the compilation.

Abstract: Examples described herein relate to a method for managing persistent handle state information. The persistent handle state information is generated for a file associated with a resource based on access of the file. The file is stored in a file system instance corresponding to the resource. The persistent handle state information corresponding to the file is stored in a state file in the file system instance corresponding to the resource.

Abstract: In an example, a distributed data access system compares a first lineage of a first analytics application with a second lineage of a second analytics application. The first analytics application may be run in a first container hosted by a first computing node and the second analytics application may run in a second container hosted by a second computing node. Based on the comparison, the distributed data access system determines whether a first insight generated by the first analytics application can be used in a processing of the second analytics application.

Some examples comprise generating, by the cloud provider engine, a current manifest file in a local memory and causing the cloud storage system to generate a current pseudo folder in the cloud storage system corresponding to a particular epoch of the filesystem object. Some other examples comprise tiering, by the cloud provider engine, the data chunks and the current manifest file to the current pseudo folder, the current manifest including pointers to the data chunks corresponding to the filesystem object at the particular epoch.
