  • Publication number: 20240029508
Abstract: Disclosed are methods of operating a casino gaming system to establish a play session for an anonymous player in which the player voluntarily provides biometric information to link the player to a player tracking record in a database of the system. In some embodiments, the player grants permission for a camera integrated into an electronic gaming machine to capture a facial image to assist in the location of the record or creation of a new record associated with the player's biometric signature. In other embodiments, the player voluntarily uses a camera integrated into a personal electronic device, such as the player's smartphone, to capture the facial image. Once the player record to be used has been identified, the record is linked to the electronic gaming machine to create a play session from which player tracking data is collected and integrated into the database record associated with the anonymous player.

  • Publication number: 20240029865
Abstract: Novel tools and techniques are provided for implementing an imaging discovery utility for augmenting clinical image management. In some embodiments, in response to receiving a request for a first medical image file(s) from a requesting device, a non-relational (“NoSQL”) data management system (“DMS”) may access a NoSQL database containing, inter alia, a plurality of medical image files that are mirrored copies of a plurality of medical image files stored in a relational (“SQL”) database, the medical image files each being organized in an image-centric hierarchy with image data being at a top level and patient information associated with the image data being at a lower level. Based on a successful search of the NoSQL database based on search terms in the request, the NoSQL DMS may identify a corresponding second medical image(s) in the SQL database, and may retrieve and send (to the requesting device) the identified second medical image(s).

  • Patent number: 11876497
Abstract: The present disclosure provides systems and methods for progressively transitioning the playback volume based on a background noise level. The device may have a predetermined quantity of volume levels between a minimum volume and a maximum volume. The volume levels may be spaced by predetermined increments, such that there is a predefined difference between adjacent volume levels. A digital gain may be used to adjust the volume level and an analog gain may allow for the playback volume to be adjusted to an amount between adjacent volume levels. The playback volume may progressively transition within the predefined volume levels by an amount less than the predetermined difference between adjacent volume levels. • Publication number: 20240007332
Abstract: The present invention discloses a signal receiver and signal receiving method involving nonlinear detection method for mmWave OTFS systems in high mobility scenarios with non-ideal power amplifier, which is applicable in the fifth generation (5G) and beyond networks. The millimeter wave (mmWave) system is envisioned to be a promising candidate of 5G. However, the high frequency and large bandwidth operation in mmWaves result in nonlinear distortions from the power amplifier in the system. The nonlinearly distorted signals from non-ideal power amplifier when propagate through a wideband high mobility channel tremendously degrades the systems performance. Attributed to the non-ideal power amplifier, the nonlinear distortions induce multiplicative distortions and inter symbol interference (ISI) in the OTFS system. It further causes the posterior probability of the transmitted signal non-Gaussian and analytically intractable.

  • Publication number: 20240004311
Abstract: An alignment or overlay target that has an optically opaque layer disposed between the top and bottom target structure is measured using opto-acoustic metrology. A classifier library is generated for classifying whether an opto-acoustic metrology signal is on or off the bottom structure. A target may be measured by acquiring opto-acoustic measurement data for the bottom structure of the target and determining a location of the bottom structure using opto-acoustic metrology data acquired from the different locations over the bottom structure and the classifier library. Locations for acquisition of the data may be based on classification results of each measurement and a search pattern. The top structure of the target may be optically imaged. The relative position of the top structure with respect to the bottom structure is determined using the opto-acoustically determined location of the bottom structure and the image of the top structure.

  • Patent number: 11863675
Abstract: Datacenters or other large-scale distributed computing systems can provide computing resources such as processing power and data storage as computing services accessible to tenants via a computer network. A tenant, such as a corporation, school, or organization, can have multiple users or groups of users with corresponding websites. To facilitate ready access, data relevant to a user, group, or website of a tenant can be stored in a dedicated network location sometimes referred to as a shard. A shard can be a physical and/or logical storage location that contains emails, chats, instant messages, documents, photos, videos, or other types of content items with which the user, group, or website can interact.

  • Publication number: 20230408723
Abstract: An apparatus and method utilize a trained machine learning model to synthesize formation evaluation data such as formation tops and LWD logs. In some instances, the synthesis of formation evaluation data may further be based upon drilling mechanics data collected during drilling, thus effectively enabling formation evaluation data to be synthesized primarily based upon surface measurements collected in real time, and in many cases without the need for collecting downhole measurements during drilling. In addition, in some instances, a machine learning model implemented as a generative adversarial network (GAN) may be used to synthesize formation evaluation data, with drilling mechanics data collected during drilling also used in some instances.

  • Patent number: 11849165
Abstract: Systems and methods are configured to manage streaming video content. A first time length specification for a content pod is accessed. If a determination is made that a response to a request for ancillary content of a duration corresponding to the first time length of the content pod includes ancillary content of insufficient duration to populate the first time length of the content pod, the content pod time length is reduced. Ancillary content items associated with the response to the request are streamed to a user device as part of a streaming channel comprising primary content having scheduled start times. A primary content item, having a scheduled start time, is streamed to the user device after the items of ancillary content, and earlier than the scheduled start time of the item of primary content.
