Abstract: The disclosure describes embodiments of systems, methods, and non-transitory computer readable storage media that enable network transactions between user accounts belonging to different network transaction platforms and unify user account modifications across user accounts on different network transaction platforms. For instance, the disclosed systems can cause two or more network transaction platforms to transmit and/or receive transactional values from one or more intermediary holding accounts upon receiving network transaction requests between user accounts belonging to the two or more network transaction platforms. In addition, the disclosed system can unify user account data on different network transaction platforms by modifying or updating the user account data (e.g., user attributes) by propagating schematized data messages to the one or more other network transaction platforms with instructions to modify or update the user attributes on other user accounts related to the user account.

Abstract: Techniques are provided for input/output operations per second (lOPS) and throughput monitoring for dynamic and/or optimal resource allocation. These techniques provide automated monitoring of resources, such as memory and processor utilization by a container accessing a volume. The automated monitoring is performed in order to generate and execute intelligent recommendations for improved resource utilization. Resource allocations can be scaled up to meet l/O load demand and satisfy service level agreements (SLAs). Resource allocations can be scaled down or adjusted to conserve resources, such as by consolidating containers or pods hosted in multiple virtual machines into a single virtual machine and decommissioning virtual machines no longer hosting containers or pods.

Abstract: In one aspect, computerized method for determining a maximum daily limit for a merchant on a settlement includes the step of, with an early settlement capping module operating in a server. The method includes the step of deciding a maximum lending limit. The maximum lending limit is used for a setup of a payment gateway with a surplus amount that a nodal account utilizes for providing a lending service to a set of merchants. The method includes the step of analyzing the impact of a set of alternative factors that are used as a cap value for the maximum lending limit. The cap value comprises an upper limit put to a daily settlement done to a merchant in the set of merchants in order to prevent risk and optimally lend float. The method includes the step of, based on the cap value, implementing a lending operation through the lending service to the set of merchants.

Abstract: Embodiments herein relate to a method and an information appliance device having a unique access card for preventing security breach in the information appliance device. A multimedia content server transmits a one-time access key to both the information appliance device and a user of the information appliance device. The user must input the access key to the information appliance device. The information appliance device verifies the access key and provides access to the user for the multimedia services, by activating a periodic activation key upon successful verification of the access key. Therefore, even if unauthorized user tries to skip the access key verification process through modification of access cards used in information appliance device, the unauthorized user cannot access the multimedia service due to lack of the periodic activation key required for activating multimedia service. Hence, security breach such as, cloning or duplication of the access cards will be minimized.

Abstract: Disclosed is a set top box (STB) configured to work with a smart card (SC) wherein the STB is authenticated by an operator who provides the smart card to a user using a One Time Password (OTP). The OTP is generated by the SC and sent via the STB to the operator through a user mobile device operatively coupled with the STB. The operator verifies the sender based upon registered mobile number of the sender, decrypts the received OTP and uses the decrypted OTP to transmit STB specific control messages to the STB and facilitate registration of the SC. Thereafter the STB can receive and decrypt channel data being transmitted by the operator. The SC, STB and the user mobile device have secure communication amongst each other after authentication of each other. Data sent between the user mobile device and the operator is encrypted.

The multiple versions are enabled to be previewed so that acceptable quality videos are made available to be included in online advertisements. When an online advertisement is to be displayed, a video is selected from the versions that passed the preview (were not rejected) to be included in the online advertisement. The video is selected according to the bandwidth of electronic device that is used to download and view the online advertisement.
