Abstract: A needle suitable for use by inserting thru tissue for gaining access to target location. A needle is provided which has improved functionality and reducing complexity of procedure. The needle is comprised of an end with side aperture towards the tip portion, which is connected via conduit portion to the needle port. In one embodiment, the needle is comprised of a hollow needle with a port and a distal atraumatic end towards which there is a single aperture on the side wall, wherein a wire can be moved within the needle without damaging the wire. In other embodiment, the needle is comprised of a hollow needle with more than one port connected to tip portion towards which there are multiple apertures on the side wall, wherein a contrast or fluid injected from one port and wire can be inserted and removed from another port of the needle.
