    Abstract: Techniques for dynamically generating and updating clusters for categorizing data by using a hybrid implementation of supervised and unsupervised machine learning models are disclosed. A system trains a supervised prediction-type machine learning model to categorize data into a design-time defined set of data clusters. The system trains the prediction-type model using a training data set to generate predictions for assigning data to design-time defined data clusters. If the prediction-type model predicts that a data record does not correspond to any of the design-time defined data clusters, the system applies an unsupervised clustering-type machine learning model to the data record. The clustering-type model predicts a data cluster for the record. If the system detects a retraining trigger, the system retrains the classification-type model to include a new classification based on a runtime defined data cluster generated by the clustering-type model.

    Abstract: Techniques for locking and unlocking clusters of content items are disclosed. A clustering algorithm is executed to assign content items to corresponding clusters. A lock is then applied to the clusters, ensuring that content items associated with the locked clusters will not be reassigned to a new cluster while the cluster is in a locked state. Characteristics associated with the first clustering algorithm, the set of clusters, and/or the content items are monitored for cluster unlocking criteria. After determining that cluster unlocking criteria has been met for a cluster, the cluster is unlocked. The clustering algorithm is then applied to content items from the unlocked cluster.

In one embodiment, an overlay component on a base portion of a compute device can be moved from a folded or closed position (in which it does not cover the keyboard) to an unfolded or open position (in which it covers part of the keyboard). The base portion includes a touch sensor that allows the overlay component to be used as a touch surface. In another embodiment, an overlay component of a compute device is movable from one position adjacent a display of the compute device to another position adjacent a base of the compute device. The overlay component is electrically switchable from a transparent state to an opaque state, allowing the display to be seen through it in one position and allowing it to be used as an opaque drawing surface in another position.
