  • Publication number: 20260146874
Abstract: The integrated circuit includes a mounting portion configured to attach at least a portion of the integrated circuit to a manifold of a liquid-cooled server. The integrated circuit also includes a temperature sensor configured to detect a temperature of the manifold. The integrated circuit also includes a leak detection sensor configured to detect whether a liquid exists in an area proximate the manifold. The integrated circuit also includes a communication system configured to communicate the temperature of the manifold and/or whether the liquid exists in the area. The integrated circuit is a compact solution usable to determine information (e.g., inlet temperature, outlet temperature, differential temperatures, leaks, etc.) about a server in which it is implemented.

  • Patent number: 12608167
Abstract: Method and system provide visual means to assess the suitability of using a potential system with a target system. The data regarding the target system and one or more potential systems to be used with the target system may be displayed. For each potential system, and for each of one or more criteria regarding the potential system, a suitability level is determined may be represented on a display with a visual indicator, e.g., green, yellow, or red. Thus, the display provides a visual indication of the suitability of the potential systems across the range of criteria.

  • Publication number: 20250338454
Abstract: The manifold includes a first portion including first liquid connectors arranged in a first linear array parallel to a longitudinal axis of the first portion. The manifold also includes a second portion including second liquid connectors arranged in a second linear array parallel to a longitudinal axis of the second portion and third liquid connectors arranged in a third linear array parallel to the second longitudinal axis and on a different side of the second portion than the second liquid connectors. The manifold also includes a fitting connecting the first portion and the second portion that allows relative rotation about a rotation axis that is parallel to the longitudinal axes. The first and second liquid connectors may be used for a first width of servers and the third liquid connectors may be used for a second width of servers.

  • Publication number: 20250280510
Abstract: A canister for coupling a plurality of servers to a server rack is described herein. The canister includes an influent rigid manifold and an effluent rigid manifold that have respective pluralities of quick-disconnect (QD) fittings arranged in fixed orientations and configured to couple with corresponding QD fittings on the servers. The canister further includes an influent canister QD fitting coupled with the influent rigid manifold and configured to couple with an influent soft manifold of the server rack. The canister also includes an effluent canister QD fitting coupled with the effluent rigid manifold and configured to couple with an effluent soft manifold of the server rack. The canister is one of many canisters configured to mount to the server rack. By using multiple canisters and the soft manifolds, many liquid-cooled servers may be implemented within the server rack without necessitating high tolerance manufacturing of the manifolds.

  • Publication number: 20250110534
Abstract: A fluid cleaning apparatus is provided for a computing system. The fluid cleaning apparatus includes a body forming a reservoir in fluid communication with a liquid cooling system. The reservoir is operable to receive fluid from the liquid cooling system. A cleaning unit is operable to reduce bacterial growth in the fluid received in the reservoir. A return component is in fluid communication with the reservoir and the liquid cooling system such that the fluid in the reservoir flows back into the liquid cooling system.

  • Patent number: 11073340
Abstract: A method and apparatus for pool boiling includes introducing a fluid into a chamber of a housing which has one or more protruding features. One or more diverters extend at least partially across the one or more protruding features in the chamber. One or more bubbles are formed in the fluid in the chamber as a result of bubble nucleation. At least one of growth and motion of the one or more of the bubbles are diverted with the one or more diverters to generate additional localized motion of the fluid along at least one of the one or more protruding features and other surfaces in the chamber of the housing to at least of transfer additional heat to the liquid and increase the critical heal flux limit.
