Patent number: 11528217Abstract: This application provides a path switching method and a related apparatus. In the path switching process, an ECMP table includes a first ECMP index of a first path group and a second ECMP index of a second path group; when all paths in the first path group have failed, a path group identifier corresponding to the first ECMP index may be changed from valid to invalid in the ECMP table, indicating that all paths in the first path group are unavailable. In this case, a path group identifier corresponding to the second ECMP index is valid, indicating that the second path group includes an available path, thereby completing switching between an active path and a standby path. In this process, only an identifier corresponding to the ECMP index needs to be updated, and therefore, the time consumed is relatively short, and the path switching delay can be effectively reduced.Type: GrantFiled: November 20, 2020Date of Patent: December 13, 2022Assignee: Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd.Inventors: Dongdong Li, Pu Cheng, Ying Xie

Patent number: 10764085Abstract: A switch receives a first packet, where the first packet includes a source media access control MAC address. The switch obtains a first flapping count corresponding to the source MAC address. The switch determines, based on the first flapping count, whether a loop failure occurs in a network in which the switch is located. When the loop failure occurs in the network in which the switch is located, the switch obtains a flapping port set corresponding to the source MAC address. The switch determines a primary port in the plurality of ports, where the primary port is a port that must be suppressed. The switch enables a flooding suppression function on the primary port, where the flooding suppression function is used to suppress forwarding of a received flooding packet by the primary port.Type: GrantFiled: June 5, 2019Date of Patent: September 1, 2020Assignee: HUAWEI TECHNOLOGIES CO., LTD.Inventors: Ying Xie, Shaoqi Zhao, Pu Cheng

Patent number: 9323337Abstract: A system and method for gesture spotting and recognition are provided. Systems and methods are also provided employing Hidden Markov Models (HMM) and geometrical feature distributions of a hand trajectory of a user to achieve adaptive gesture recognition. The system and method provide for acquiring a sequence of input images of a specific user and recognizing a gesture of the specific user from the sequence of input images based on a gesture model and geometrical features extracted from a hand trajectory of the user. State transition points of the gesture model are detected and the geometrical features of the hand trajectory of the user are extracted based on the relative positions of the detected state transition points and a starting point of the gesture. The system and method further provide for adapting the gesture model and geometrical feature distribution for the specific user based on adaptation data.Type: GrantFiled: December 29, 2010Date of Patent: April 26, 2016Assignee: Thomson LicensingInventors: Jie Zhou, Pu Cheng

Patent number: 5372348Abstract: An inclined book holder comprises a crenelated metal strip having an inclined support bar and a roughly S shaped clamping portion adjoined therewith, a pair of lateral members selectively positionable along the support bar, and a cross member also adjustably positionable therealong. The S shaped clamping portion defines a pair of opposed clamps carrying a pair of thumbscrews engaged through respective upper and lower plates thereof. A plurality of holes are formed along the support member for the positioning of the lateral members and cross member. The pivot ends of each lateral member is releasably securable to a selected hole on the support member using a nut and bolt. The cross member can likewise be positioned on the support member with an adjustable orientation therewith.Type: GrantFiled: May 19, 1992Date of Patent: December 13, 1994Inventor: Chung-Pu Cheng
